WOW! What a difference a week makes. After last week's lackluster show, the Gaiety comes back strong this week. A very solid show of regulars and new. No twinks or massive bods (though I think Ray is bigger than a "medium" build), but if you like girth, this is the crop for you.

 

Raphael had his usual scowl on but I like his haircut. Michael is bigger, Jesse is a bit thinner and I just can't get into James' dancing style. Have Ray's triceps and thighs always been that thick? I must have been sitting too close (or not close enough). Miguel's tight, muscular build and dancing style was hot. I'm sure he'll find reasons to come back for a return visit.

STEVE: When he came out for his first number at Monday's 1:30pm show he was wearing glasses that hid his face so I was having a hard time placing him from his first appearance at the G two months ago. Then there was a music malfunction that kept interupting his dancing. I thought Steve handled it well with a nice sense of humor and he crouched down to greet a few of the stage-side patrons. After he took off his A/X T-shirt his tattoos started to look familiar. He's a nice looking guy with a pleasant if not wildly exciting stage show.
