GAIETY LINEUP FOR WEEK OF JUNE 2d

Hi guys. Cooper had another engagement after the show so he asked me to post the lineup. I figured, why not, if not me some other bozo might beat me to it!

 

So enough clowning around. The lineup today included 3 sizzlers and three duds. (Make sure I mention Matt, the guy on the cusp of post-twinkhood making his Gaiety debut.)

 

The lineup:

1. Kenneth- He did his shoulder dance again, wearing the same clothes he had on Friday night. But, when naked, he also wore the same suit, so who's to complain! Kenneth has a very nice tummy but could use some dance lessons. He likes to stay towards the back of the stage, especially when hard.

 

2. Jason Adonis- A jetset porn star making his Gaiety debut. There is nothing not to like about his body. He goes to the gym... a lot! Smooth and shaven, he does a very sexy if impersonal dance. The guy next to me was thrilled when Jason cast a shy smile towards him. I wanted to ask him about the scar along his lower spine, but he had gone when I went out to the lounge. Another plus for Jason- no tattoos to mar that lovely skin. He is going to have a busy week.

 

3.Ben- Dr. Versace was making house calls today. Does anybody enjoy performing more than Ben? He does an enthusaistic routine that certainly gets the audience going. His lovely smile and killer eyes light up the stage. He is now sporting a very lickable tight tummy, but when he does that thing with his own tongue, I just wanted him to lick me!

 

4. Jason- Have you ever been in a Chelsea bar and said hello to a cute Chelsea boy only to have him ignore you? It could have been Jason. He gave such a lackluster performance that I wondered if he knew he was on stage. But then, that is the Chelsea look- sort of a bored lack of awareness. He has a nice body, and I guess if someone has to follow Ben it might as well be a dud like this one. I am sure he is really a nice guy in real life though.

 

5. Eric- This guy usually appears with the very hot Ronnie LaCouer so I don't always notice what a beautiful body he has. Today he did his best to make sure I didn't see it, staying at the back of the stage through his whole number. He should have just phoned it in or better yet, let Ronnie have his slot.

 

6. Matt- Saving the best for last, this sizzling newcomer wowed the audience with his stunning good looks, tight body, and charming virgin nervousness. When he gets comfortable on stage, you had better put on your seatbelt! As for now, I like his routine just fine. Perhaps he didn't know that you come out naked for the second number. He chose to wear his plaid A&F boxers with a tent, slowly revealing his nice pubes etc. Of course, they came off, but it was so sexy when he laid on the stage and threw his legs up to put them back on. Soemone needs to pick out better music for him too.

 

Okay. There were several Gaiety thread contributors present today so I will look forward to some other opinions soon.

Ok, my 2 cents...

 

KENNETH. Nobody should wear black socks when they come out for the second half of their show. I can deal with white socks but black ones never work. He is too thin for my taste, but that's me.

 

JASON ADONIS. Anyone who gives himself this stage name better live up to it. He does. Has sort of a baby face that appealed to me. He has a butt you could serve cocktails on. Don't you love the word cocktails? I'm sorry, I know that's very "Will & Grace", a show I've learned to hate.

 

BEN VERSCACE. Mr. Entertainment!!! The guy actually looks like he is having fun on stage. Not the typical Gaiety dancer by any means. He is more handsome and has a better body than I remember from past performances. This guy is a star and I hope his returning to the Gaiety stage doesn't come back to bite him. He deserves a real career.

 

JASON. Another great butt. But....not a very happy looking guy.

 

ERIC. A pretty goodlooking guy I thought. Maybe because he has that Brazilian look which appeals to me. For all I know he could be from Norway with a nice tan. He always seems very friendly in the lounge and that's a nice.

 

MATT. I thought it was NAT but lately I think my hearing is going. Too many years of over-amplified music at the Gaiety I guess. This guy is cute, cute, cute. He's brand new at the Gaiety. I predict he has quite a future ahead of him. If I were able, I'd keep him all to myself and never let him go. For a week, anyway.

 

There were rumours that Riccardo was to perform but he never showed up. Since his performance is always the same, just look up past reviews and know you haven't missed anything.

Thanks to Lucky & Foxy for your reviews. Your reviews were very detailed and made me LOL several times. So 50% duds and 50% good for today's performances. I guess thats on average one can expect in life since "the House" has the edge. Maybe this weekend the odds will improve towards the good performance end of the tetter-totter (sorry, flashback to my childhood-better not go there).

 

I look forward to seeing Ben, my favorite G-dancer, perform. Matt sounds like fun and definitely worth checking out.

 

Anyway, my plans bring me to NYC and the G-spot beginning this Friday night. Hope to meet ya'll Friday or Saturday nights.

 

Cooper, I guess if you still plan to be there for the Saturday 6:15 show then I'll see ya then.

I agree with all comments on Matt, WOW!! I really liked this one a lot.

 

Jason Adonis is extremely good looking, seemed quite friendly, comfortable on stage.

Today was a beautiful day in NYC and going to the Gaiety without an umbrella was quite a treat. At least that's what I thought. Dr. Ben Versace, noted for his very creative shows, chose to enter stage for his 2nd number completely wet. Guess who he decided to dry off on?

 

It was quite a lineup today, not the one on stage, but the one in the seats. Lucky, Foxy, Bozo, and Cooper all sitting ringside and taking notes! I assume from the early postings of all 3 reviews, I was the only one detained after the show!

 

I think everyone seeing Jason Adonis, the featured dancer, will react the same. He's gorgeous. My first impression upon seeing him in the lounge was how young he looks. He's tall, very muscular, with dark wavy hair, and light brown eyes. This was his first time appearing at the Gaiety and looked very comfortable on stage. If he decides to become a regular dancer at the Gaiety, he going to become a real favorite.

 

Matt was also a newbie this week. He told me he auditioned on Sunday and was asked to start on Monday. He's 21yo., 5'11", and 160 lbs. One patron referred to him as a "muscle twink". He has brown curly hair, killer blue eyes, a nice solid build, and youthful good looks. He puts on a fine stage show and, as the week goes on, I'm certain he'll become more comfortable on stage. Speaking with Matt in the lounge, I found him to be very friendly and open.

 

The performance of the "sex instructor" Dr. Ben Versace alone is worth the price of admission. Ben is an extremely good looking man with the most beautiful blue eyes. His show involves a lot of audience participation. One "lucky" patron was asked to stand up, strip down, and put a small thong on. Others were asked to sign the attendance sheet, some were examined, and others got magazines to look at... Ben has it all; the looks, body, talent, and personality. His second number is extremely sensuous. Ben's body is in the best shape I've ever seen it and his routine is done to perfection. You can't get better than this.

Was there at the late show on Monday. did not see any of the dancers in the lounge after they danced. do you have to set it up early in the day? How much do they charge? JAKE, Did you read the information under "FAQ" regarding the Gaiety? It's at the top of the Strip Club Forum. The information there is very detailed.

JAKE: If you see a dancer on stage that you want to speak with, go to the lounge right after he dances. The dancer will exit through the lounge and you can get contact information. If the dancer has plans, he'll leave immediately, if not, he'll hang around.

JAKE: "Privates" will have to fit into the dancers' schedule. Most of the time the dancer will be available right after his show, then again, another client might beat you to it. If you're staying in the City, get his cell # and set up a time.

JAKE: It's important to speak with the dancer about your interests before leaving the lounge. Ben is real easy to talk to and will let you know what he does during a private. Then you decide... There were 2 Jason's in this week's lineup. If it's Jason Adonis, the porn star and cover boy, I'd ask him his charge for "time only". Big names usually ask for more.

I wandered into the Gaiety mid-show last night after a haul of from DC with a pit stop in Philly. Guess I caught Ben at end of his first dance. What a change in that boy over the last year!!! From swimmer to muscle boy. I agree that, Ben aside, Matt was the catch of the night. As for Riccardo, his dance was totally uninspired but if he were homeless, I sure give him a bed to sleep in -- mine }(

The second Jason, also uninspired but a nice bubble ass. If that Eric is the one from Houston, that danced with Ronnie from Houston -- well, he doesn't seem to be from the same planet as the guy i saw a year or so ago.

Another mentioned addition to the weekend lineup will be the very handsome VITO. He always puts on a fine sensual show and has a tight/muscular fat free body. Wait till you see his very cut abs! He's one of the good guys.

I'll be checking out Matt at the Gaiety tomorrow night and Saturday. I do indeed, I would even say, "Yes Indeed", I agree with your analysis of Ben. He is one sexy, gorgeous, talented young man. He is also a very wise as well as fun person to talk to. Cooper has wet my appetite to see Matt perform.

 

Cooper, Now I know why you are at the gaiety every Monday afternoon- I thought it was for your selfless volunteer work to give us reviews of each weeks shows- now I know its to have first crack at the beautiful newbies. I'm as jealous as I can be.

Caught the first half of the show (that I missed on Tues.) on Wed. night. Had a delightful time with Ben's performance. He was very interactive with the crowd or tried to be. I thought some were going to croak at his attempts to coax them into a little diaglog. I also loved his fulll strip in the first number. Nice to see the equipment in it's natural state too. A hottie with a personality.}(

 

As for Jason Adonis... what a beauty!! I found myself looking more hat his eyes and lips though I did notice some other stuff too. :9

Bill, I think it's wonderful that dancers are carrying on side jobs at the Gaiety, next thing you know, they'll be selling Avon products in the lounge and hosting Tupperware parties back in their hotel rooms.

As for next week's lineup: HX magazine has Trevor, Tyler, and Ronnie LeCour as the featured dancers... Christian aka Chriss of the Stock will be performing, along with "Unzipped" magazine cover boy Shane Rollins and newcomer Justin, who made his debut this weekend.

Lots of favorites this week, but Jason Adonis, who has Chris Klein's good looks, was my choice.

 

Excellent performances put in by Ben Versace who did a waiter's routine. Enters the theatre carrying a tray of house drinks, which he hands out to a few patrons, then performs a very entertaining show... Officer Ronnie LeCour, enters stage dressed as NYPD officer and makes us all willing candidates to be handcuffed... Matt of Phoenix, made his debut this week and showed off not only his dancing skills, but also his acting. Looked like he was really enjoying himself... Shane Rollins was at his best. He has a very fast moving dance routine that can only mesmerize the patrons... Vito, he looks like he's working on his footwork for a boxing program. Love the way he enters stage with a cartwheel down center stage. Then he performs one of the most sensuous 2nd numbers... Tommy was a true entertainer. His stage show only gets better. Lots of creative flips, hand stands, back bends, and of course his signature self-sucking move... Next week's lineup is going to be another winner.

 

Also, spotted in the audience were a few out-of-town board members. It was great meeting Alex John Pela, Denver Traveler, and Shy. Hope your NY experience goes well. Tampa Yankee, we'll meet on your next visit.

The Gaiety On CBS

 

Watching the Tony Awards tonight brought back so many memories when I saw the shots from Times Square and the Howard Johnson Restaurant, knowing that some of my NY buddies might have been upstairs at the G.

Since I saw Hairspray while I was in town (one of my few free afternoons), it was nice to see the show take so many awards. What a grand night for gays on CBS! Miss you guys.
