Is it me, or does it seem that the vast majority of clients are looking for escort tops? What percentage, really, are hiring bottoms? Apparently, many more clients prefer to give rather than receive. I've always found that a bit surprising. Anyone have a handle on that?

I have never had any problem finding bottoms for free, but most free tops want--and can get--young bottoms, which excludes me. 90% of my clients who are into fucking want to be topped. Bottoms

This thread seems to confirm my view based on my 'limited' experience and from the message boards/ reviews here that most clients are bottoms and most escorts are into topping -- many exclusively. Must the the law of 'demand and supply'. This sucks for us 'top' clients. :-(

I've heard "bottoms everywhere" about almost every major gay population center. (Chicago included ;-))

 

I lived in the DC area and the NYC area before moving here, and my experience bears that out. It's *great* when I'm out cruising. But when I'm buying, it can be frustrating because many escorts are top-only.

 

I think TY has it nailed (so to speak). It's supply and demand.

I think that some men, not in-the-know, look at escorts that advertise as "bottom boys" and may think they are too nelly for them. They may hire escorts that advertise as versatile. There are also top guys out there who want to hire a guy, who usually tops, to bottom for them. Maybe it gives them the sense of fucking a "real man". I've had a few guys hire me to bottom because to them, I didn't seem like a bottom type of guy. Go figure.
