Just curious, have you ever suspected an escort you were with was higher than a kite?

I had one experience where the escort told me he had been doing meth during the day, the other I think was high on something, based on his erratic behavior.

Coincidently, both were L.A. escorts.

First one was Brick. I had set up a 3-way with Brick and another escort, for an evening and during the afternoon, he called me to tell me he needed to talk to me. I called him back and then he told me that he didn't think he could do the 3-way because he had been partying that afternoon with some friends. Mind you, this was in the middle of the week, which surprised me. Anyway, Brick goes on to tell me that he got high, but denied it was meth, when I asked him. Later that night, he did admit to doing meth. Also, during the evening, he managed to tell me that he smokes a lot of pot.

Had I known any of this, I would never have hired him in the first place. He was very paranoid. He kept telling me to talk in a low voice, he didn't want his neighbors to hear him and didn't want them to know what he was doing. But then, he would be talking very loudly a few minutes later.

The whole evening was bizarre, but it wasn't until he came that he admitted to doing meth. He said that if I tasted his cum, I would be up all night.

The other experience was Justin Baylor. Like Brick, his behavior was very erratic and the conversation was very disjointed. After my Brick experience, I have been screening the escorts to make sure they're not into drugs and Justin told me that he doesn't do drugs. Well, it was obvious he was on something that night and later on, he told me that he was high on meth the first time he got fucked.

Aside from the erratic behavior and communication skills, the other common factor was that both guys visibly looked older and less attractive than I was led to believe. In reading the reviews on both guys, most people indicated they were very good looking guys. The guys I met both looked like they had lived a hard life and certainly looked a lot older than their respected ages.

I know that gay men and drugs are joined at the hip, but as a client, when I am paying, I expect the escort to be drug free and functional.

I don't think that's too much to ask.

As for Brick and Justin Baylor, I would avoid these two, they are a mess.

I don't think you are asking too much. Whether it be for work or just play I have a strict no party policy. I've seen first hand what it does and it aint good. Not all escorts party, I've met a few that don't. I feel at any point in meeting up with someone and something doesn't seem right you have every right to call off the meeting. Whether I am hiring or being hired if something didn't seem right I would politely excuse myself from the situation.

I've gone into this before in other forums/threads, so I capsulize here: Mike Harvey (NYC RENTBOY) aka Luke (MAXIMUM) was flying on something the night I saw him. Beads of sweat on his forehead (in autumn), incoherent mumbling, disorientation, stumbling, losing balance and.....impotence. I became suspicious when it took him nearly ten minutes to get from the doorman to my apartment (usual commuting time: 2 minutes). I was quite happy to see him on his way and will not re-book. Be advised.

I don't mean to throw bricks ;-) or anything, but where are the reviews?

Brick has 40 reviews, all positive. The visible ones are glowing. Justin Baylor has 18, and the visible ones are likewise glowing.

If there were genuinely a problem with either escort, one might think at least one reviewer would make mention of it.

Making unverified accusations here in the MC is a bit of a low blow, and worse it will only be seen by less than 10% of the people who rely on this site.

Where are the reviews?

Another party boy to avoid in the L.A. area is Bobby Williams. Was told a story that Bobby showed up to a client and he left the room and came back and was somewhat disoriented. Eventually he passed out, apparently he had a little black bag with him that had included his drug supplies: G and meth. The couple that hired him didn't know what to do, he was unresponsive and passed out, so they called the paramedics.

After all was said and done, he still managed to ask for his fee, in front of paramedics and cops that came to the scene.

Bobby Williams....yet another escort mess.

>experience with two escorts who didn't have "their feet on the ground".

I actually rather enjoy them with their feet in the air. :o

But thank you for your voice of reason. It never hurts to repeat that you should not proceed if things seem amiss.

Posting negative reviews turns into a pissing contest

Have you read any of the responses from the escort? Nine times out of ten, the escort attempts to make it seem as though the client is at fault.

Given the Brick experience was last October, it's not exactly timely. Justin Baylor, on the other hand, is timely and I'll put up a negative review. Just can't wait to hear how this becomes my fault in his response.

BTW, you are absolutely right, Brick's reviews are glowing and I was very interested in meeting him because of it. In fact, the conversations leading up to the meeting did not give me any indication that he was like this at all. I got the impression he was very professional. He was in complete agreeance on the meeting with the other escort and seemed to enjoy the idea of tag-teaming me with another top.

This isn't a case of a hit-and-run.

RE: Posting negative reviews turns into a pissing contest

I get a little suspicious if I see something like 40 reviews and none are negative. Deej's answer is a little too pat and unrealistic. Escorts have bad days or have trouble connecting to certain individuals--a negative review doesn't have mean that they are a bad escort, but a realistic record is a better one. It's very possible that Brick, for example, has only recently begun to have a problem with meth or perhaps, he simply exercised bad judgment on that occasion. Having it on the record is a positive thing. People can make what they want of a negative review and not every negative review is justified. Some escorts fall into a slump in customer relations or go into decline--it helps to have some indications of the negative, whatever it may be. Actually, it's the clients who discount a negative review that often are more troubling. In some cases, they've probably crossed a line in the adoration for the escort.

RE: Posting negative reviews turns into a pissing contest

I would agree, but after my meeting with him, I have to question some of the reviews. It's very possible, that some of his clients may find the whole PNP scene appealing.

It's very possible, as you state that Brick may have started down a road of heavy drug use. He did tell me that he's been smoking pot for years (which I find to be troubling) and may have led him to try the more popular drugs of choice.

I realize now that I should have cancelled the appointment as soon as he told me he chose to get high that afternoon.

>Have you read any of the responses from the escort?

Honey, I've read all of them.

Darned few responses (if there is one) reflect well on the escort. As long as the review is straightforward and factual, rather than mud-slinging hyperbole, the reviewer will generally be taken more seriously than the escort's response. However, it's important that the escort be given the opportunity to respond rather than sniping anonymously on a message board. It's just the fair thing to do.

It's still important to have the review in the hopper since that's the only way a new pattern of behavior can become known to clients considering hiring the same escort. If it is indeed a pattern, it will no doubt show up in subsequent reviews.

Thank you (on behalf of all readers of this site) for submitting your review! I look forward to reading it.

IMHO...It is Unfortunate that No Reviews about "Alleged" Drug Abuse were written. IF for No other reason than, the Guy's whose Names were brought up could at least in "The Escort Response" Part of the Review..be able to address them.

Now this Issue is left up to the Reader's of The Forums Only!

Which Personally I think is very Unfair to the "Working Guy's" Mentioned, which can lead to more accusation's towards other's in the future!

We now already have One or Two "Working Guy's" stating their Opinon's of other Working Guy's in 3 Ways! This Can Affect a Guy's Income. Again with No way for the Guy's mentioned to Respond!

Other than getting into a "Pissing Match", which alot of Guy's can't be bothered with. They are Understandably to BUSY "Workin It", to follow these Chit-chats.

IM "very" HO of course! LOL :p :P :p

Am I the only one who finds this thread incredibly unfair? Escorts are being attacked by name for being under the influence of illegal drugs. The escort is not heard in these threads.

How do you know what drugs the escort has taken? How do you know if the person saying he is under the influence is telling the truth? So many opportunities exist for someone to get his revenge by making a false accusation here that the thread should not have been allowed in the first place. This is the kind of accusation that can stick with an escort even if untrue. So why allow names to be stated when there is no defense allowed? Isn't an escort's drug use personal information at the very least?

To answer your question, no an escort's drug use should should not remain private when it interferes in the escort's ability to perform.

As for Brick, he TOLD me he spent the day getting high, but that he would be ok. He also TOLD me repeatedly that it was just weed, especially when I questioned him specifically about meth. At the time, he sounded coherent over the phone.

It wasn't until after he came that he TOLD me he spent the day getting high on meth, which meant he was lying to me before.

The dude also spent quiet a bit of time telling me that he has been smoking weed for years, meaning he's probably spent a good portion of his adult life stoned.

As with Justin Baylor, he flat out told me that he had done meth in the past, given his behavior that night, it was very clear to me he was on something. I made it very clear to him at the time, I was NOT tolerant of drugs.

I hired two other escorts after Justin and both had no problems being up front about their drug use or lack thereof.

Bottom line, if I wanted a low-level street hustler/junkie, then I'd go looking for that and save the money. When I'm paying $300 per hour, I expect the escort to be professional and drug free. I know the latter is next to impossible and how many bumps he does after we part ways is no concern of mine, but I expect him to be sober and functional when he's on the clock.

I have a zero tolerance for drugs and have NO respect for people that do hardcore drugs such as coke and meth.

In my report, I described the behavior I witnessed, which was enought to set off my alarms and make me uneasy, to say the least. If the situation was potentially dangerous or just unsatisfactory, the escort should be flagged. That's what this site can do.

RE: Gossip

Even if you saw the escort use drugs, it is still your word against his. And for Steven to say that the escort "told" him still begs the question: Who is Steven and why should we believe him? What other motives could he have in making such statements?

These are serious allegations and are being tossed around lightly here with no proof and no attempt to contact the escort for a response.

I think that some guys get into escorting so that they can support their drug habbit. As for pot, I know so many people who outside of escorting who do it, that I am no longer surprised see anyone doing pot. I do not do pot myself, and don't condone its use, but on the other hand, I know people who get into fights when they drink, but I have never heard of anyone getting into a fight because they were doing pot.

I would be more surprised if most escorts did not have an experience with pot at one time or another. (I'm not suggesting that most escorts do pot regularly, but that their percentages would be similar to the rest of the population)

Hard drugs on the other hand is far more serious than pot, and I would not want to hire an escort who does hard drugs. One cannot always tell who does drugs, and I don't ask those kinds of questions. If someone was high while they were with a client, then they obviously have little regard for the client.

That's very true. Gay men are also all alcoholics who are incapable of having stable long-lasting relationships. Even though I don't do drugs (and neither do any of my friends), don't drink, and am still with my first boyfriend of almost 19 years, I think all of the above stereotypes are valid and that we should all continue to perpetuate them. :p

RE: Gossip

Sorry bro, but I have nothing to gain from this. I am a client. I'm the one who pays and as such, the escort should meet certain expectations, among them, sobriety.

As for the my word vs. his word, well, you just summed up the whole review process.

BTW, put the shoe on the other foot. If the client comes and is high on something, what's your reaction?

a) I'm sorry, but I can't meet with you and decline the appointment

or

b) I'll have what you're having and it's party time.

RE: Gossip

>Louis, we could discuss drug use among escorts without

>hurling accusations at specific escorts, especially those not

>here to defend themselves.

What the hell is the point of this place anyway? "Specifics" are why I read this board, and there's always some Sanctimonius Mary who can never take the word of someone relaying a bad experience, AND NAMING NAMES, without being called a "liar" or crying that the escort isn't here to "defend themselves".

That's the point of an internet message board. The individual reader has the option of determining what he takes to believe has a shred of truth and what doesn't. If every accusation has to turn into a "point/counterpoint" this site is worthless (as was the story from the guy who told of preparing extensively for an escort, being "badly treated the whole time" and seemed devastated by his experience. But he wouldn't name names, but thought it was important enough to start a thread in the message center. REAL helpful.)

>Even if you saw the escort use drugs, it is still your word against his.

Uhm.....what? I assume what you mean is that he dare not speak of it, unless the escort is here to "defend" himself. Not that he can't believe his lying eyes.

I have no experience with Brick, but I can tell you that your eyes don't lie with respect Justin Baylor - he's shaving the better portion of a decade off his age. When I first hired him (before I knew his real age), he could easily get by with it, but apparently the years have not been kind to him.

Uh-oh. Sounds like we've got another "your word against his" situation.......so what you know his real age. Doesn't mean we have to believe he looks it. :p

RE: Gossip

I don't see the point of discussing drug use by escorts in the abstract on this message board beyond some educational value for the uninformed. But most of us clients represented on this board have seen enough drug use by our friends and acquaintances over the years to know enough without needing additional education through this message board.

I don't see much difference between bringing up the use of drugs by an escort in a review or in this forum since the client could lie in either place if he wanted to malign a specific escort. If anything, a poster here at least has a track record which we can take into account in evaluating his comments. Many reviews are by first-time reviewers who are never heard from again. What credibility do they have?

The OP has been a member here a long time but has made relatively few posts. I took both those facts into account in judging his remarks. However I also took into account that he made statements which did not seem far-fetched and would be verifiable, particularly the effects that drug usage has had on the appearance of these escorts in question.

Finally, I am not at all surprised that this story emanates from Los Angeles. The amount of drug usage there and in New York and here in Montreal, to be frank, is right in your face and only a fool would not be aware of it. I think many gay men just look the other way until they see its destructive effects on a close friend or colleague. And even then, there is a lot of denial going on. The same with alcohol abuse. I don't mind when these facts are brought to my attention, especially since these escorts would have been on my potential list of hires if I were to be in Los Angeles.

About a year ago I had this experience with an escort in NY, who shall remain nameless. From the moment I arrived at his apartment I was a little disconcerted by his erratic behavior, but at that point there was nothing alarming enough to make me necessarily feel that I should leave. It was a domination session and I attributed the behavior to being part of the ambience he was trying to establish. Then, midway through the session he stops, goes and gets a pipe, and proceeds to smoke meth! I wasn't at all sure that he wasn't a totally unbalanced personality so I was honestly somewhat fearful. I decided that rather than create any hostility that I would just try to get through the next few minutes with as little involvement and as little risk to me as possible. It was a bizaare and unpleasant experience, and one I hope I never repeat.
