Every month or so I travel into Manhattan for an overnight with an escort and I've never been quoted $2000.00. Over the past few years, some of the porn guys I've hired have been Michael Brandon, Arpad Miklos, Gus Mattox and Nick Capra. As I recall, the most I've paid is $1500.00, but it seems most have charged $1200.00. Most really good non-porn escorts (Rick and Derek included) seem to charge between $800.00 and $1200.00, with most at $1000.00. The evening usually starts around 6:00 or 6:30 and ends the next morning around 8:00 a.m. I've been lucky enough to have had really great times with 90% of these guys. $2000.00.. no way. Never been quoted that much.

I have to agree with you, I have hired porn stars as well as non porn stars. I have been with some of the best an they don't charge 2000 for an overnight. However there is always someone out there that will fall for that rate which makes him continue to charge it. I can say from my experience with porn stars. WHOOPTY DO, they were not so hot in person or in the sack. So I am not on a binge to fuck porn stars. Often my hotter moments have been with non porn actors. I think the key word here is actor. LOL.

I've come to the conclusion that the indicator of a successful hook-up with a porn star might have something to do with his age. The younger ones can be very full of themselves (understandably - they're still kids, gorgeous, and relatively new to fame). The older ones seem more mellow, friendlier and more comfortable with themselves AND their role as an escort. Michael Brandon just turned 40 and, while not my usual cup of tea, was incredibly attentive during our time together and he's a huge star. Two of the best escort experiences I've ever had were with Gus Mattox and Arpad Miklos. Both were funny, enthusiastic and all about me (to say nothing of amazingly hot). Come to think of it, the best experiences I've had with non-porn star escorts have been with guys tending to the older side, too. It makes sense that with some age comes a degree of professionalism that shouldn't be expected from someone in their early twenties. Best advice: do your homework on this site and know your budget. My understanding from reading Stephen's posts is that Lucas charges $400 in NYC but only $250 in Chicago, his home base. (I guess the diff pays for the travel expenses.) Moreover, the engagement with the two including Stephen and Lucas was in Chicago so I assume the client paid them each the $250 rate.

 

Now had this date occured in NYC, I suppose the client would have had to pay $400 to Lucas and $250 to Stephen. I have found myself in situations where the two escorts charge different rates but never as large a difference. I usually top up the rate of the lower priced escort as I think that if both are putting out the same level of service they deserve the same rate. Also I would feel funny handing over a significantly lower amount to one escort than the other. Somehow it would seem to downgrade the services of the "cheaper" escort.

 

Given the huge cost difference between these two escorts, however, I suppose I would avoid hiring them together as it would be too much to pay at the higher rate and it would seem impossible to go with the lower rate.

Hey Irish, I did see Steven on Monday when he was in Boston, and it was a so-so evening. I’ll say upfront that I was not my best that evening and not a good partner, but Steven also was not his best. I hadn't planned to comment about Steven Draker, but the negative reports in this thread by irishguybos and backbaygayguy alongside the positive comments of EXPAT and today's positive review have made me change my mind.

 

I saw Steven about a week ago, and my experience was almost exactly like backbaygayguy's. Apart from Steven's lackluster performance during our session, he was difficult to communicate with beforehand -- taking days to reply to emails while we were working out logistics, somewhat brusque on the phone.

 

Communication afterwards was even worse. While mildly surprised that there was not even a perfunctory thank-you email, I was downright insulted when, less than 24 hours after our meeting, I received a message (not personalized) informing me that he was extending his stay in town, to get in touch if I was interested, and to “Take a chance, because I won't be back in town till the fall.”

 

From many postive reviews, it seems that Steven can do a great job -- at times. It's not clear what circumstances impel him to be a good partner and non-clock watcher on one occasion, and an assembly-line style disappointment on others. As backbaygayguy said, the inconsistency is not the mark of a professional.

 

It was helpful to have my perceptions validated by reading the experiences of others --thanks for posting.
