Has it ever occurred to any of you that I use the word because I know it drives many of you around the bend? I use it and the usual suspects come sputtering into the room like a bunch of old biddies who just heard that someone was badmouthing their rice pudding recipes.

I also like to use it to give certain "escorts" a reality check about how fabulous and glamorous they are. Some of you may not think there's a difference between a trannie on the West Side Highway and someone who has a flashy website but the FACT is, any way you cut it, they are both whores. The waiter at Lutece is no different than the guy at a Greek diner. The menu prices may vary, but they're both waiters.

It's possible that the people who have a problem with the word might be REALLY bothered because they prefer to think that they're hiring an escort rather than a whore. However, it's a distinction without a difference. I don't have a problem with "escorts", but let's not pretend they're anything classier than a whore. There aren't different levels of "class" when it comes to eating someone's ass.

Poetically yours,

FFF

Yes, it has. And perhaps the people who complain about this habit of yours should take a moment to reflect on the fact that they also have habits that drive some of us around the bend. For a discussion of some of these habits, see the "Learning Curve" thread in the Lounge section.

How true. And how descriptive.

Speaking of pretending, that poster who created a new screen name in this thread for the sole purpose of bashing you . . . who do we know besides Lucky who takes every opportunity to express his dislike for you? Well, no one.

That's the only funny thing you've ever posted. You think you don't have a problem with escorts, but their very existence consumes your life. For someone who is neither an escort nor a client, you spend an awful lot of time examining escort ads and critiquing escort reviews and pics. You probably say ESCORTS ARE WHORES, ESCORTS ARE WHORES in your sleep.

LOL! I do love your posts, as they are always entertaining. :)

However, one could look at your points in a different light. For instance, your reference to food: both a hot dog and a sirloin steak will feed your hunger pangs, but there is a hell of a lot of difference in both quality and cost (of course an ass is an ass, but would you rather munch on a young, tight, hot one or an old, flabby tired one? :+ ) I can't speak for you, but I know which one I would choose!

IMHO there is a difference between a whore and an escort, although there are indeed whores (aka hustlers) pretending to be escorts. A whore only sells sex, whereas an escort (the good ones anyway) offer more. If you're only interested in a quick blow job, by all means pick up the nearest whore on the street, but if you're looking for someone to make you feel good in more areas than just sex, then you need to hire an escort or get lucky and find a hot, handsome, intelligent, educated boyfriend (easier said than done aS most of the posters on this board can attest to).

KEEP POSTING -- I LOVE YOUR POSTS!!!! :7 :7 :7 :7

RE: Fin Fang Foom 's Response

Foom is probably the only one here who hunts remote areas of the Internet to find an escort he can trash. Most of the people he picks on I have never heard of.

Just for clarification, though, I am not shy about letting Foom know how much he annoys me, and I certainly wouldn't want to be his friend, because I believe he is his only friend. But I do occasionally enjoy his posts. If I want to say bad things about him, I don't need another screename do I Mr. woodlawn , regulation, seraph 250? See the reason you and Thunderbuns can't hide is because your nastiness is the same no matter what name you post under. In marine's case it is also the stupidity, but Foom and Regulation are far from stupid. That's why I generally skip your posts.

While I am at it, Donnie is a case of a guy who doesn't like me but I virtually salivate when I see his posts on the menu. He always entertains me!

So there, there are three guys I don't like. With 1700 people signed up, that's not bad at all.

>But when Rick M. describes himself as a dumb whore everyone

>thinks it's cute.

I’m not one to get my panties in a twist when FFF trots out ‘whore’ for the obvious reasons he has already explained. It gets a reaction and he uses it as a reality check when some escort trots out that “high class client” bullshit.

However, there is a difference between what Rick does with the word and what Fang does. It’s like any other pejorative that applies to a group that you belong to. You can take ownership of the word and use it yourself, but that doesn’t make it right for people who are not part of the group to use it.

That is what blacks have done to a word that no white person has the right to use. It’s why I LOVE the word queer (and don’t mind faggot) when it’s used by a gay person but hate it on the tongue of a breeder boy. I don’t know if it’s the best thing to do, but it does seem to be human nature and a fairly common practice.

How noble - how terribly terribly brave of you!

No loss - I'm sure the feeling is mutual. But may I remind you that he was able to pick up a good looking escort as a trick without knowing he was an escort and without paying for it, which is a feat you probably haven't been able to achieve for several decades.

Liar! If you skip them how come you even know their contents and how do you manage so many nasty nasty replies? Sob! (don't confuse that with son-of-a-bitch - it's just me crying over your cruelty.

What a coincidence. There are only three guys out of 1700 that I don't like. You - Cooper & Jackhammer (you know - the one of Cagney & Lacey fame - yah right!}

Every board needs a pompus know-it-all ass. It's the law dontcha know?

Thank God we have you Lucy - oops - a typo - Lucky.

A very interesting point. However, I would say that an escort is merely a whore that you can take to dinner and then the theatre.

I'm reminded of the old story about the man at the fancy dinner who asks the hostess if she would sleep with him for a million dollars. She replies: "Well, for a million dollars I would!". He counters: "What if I paid you twenty bucks?". She snorts: "Good man! What do you think I am?" He responds: "We've already established what you are madam and now we're merely haggling over the price."

We all know what guys who sell sex are, we're merely arguing over what exactly to call them. Occassionally, when merited, I call them whores. Certain people's discomfort with the word doesn't change what they are. To paraphrase Shakespeare, "A whore by any other name would still be a whore."

>but if you're looking for someone to make you feel

>good in more areas than just sex, then you need to hire an

>escort

However, Lance was hired to be just that (Such a NICE website he has! Much nicer than the West Side Highway) and he turned out to be a whore. So just because a guy offers "escort services" doesn't mean he's not just a whore with a pretty website.

since you are so prone to point out other peoples' spelling and/or punctuation errors, i had to let you know that misplaced the apostrophe.

It was George Bernard Shaw, the Irish playwright, who uttered the famous remark about million pound whores (not dollars). And he was a product of an age that valued whores, escorts, courtesans and women who married rich men to better themselves, each in their own place. It's all tired old history, my dears, first played out in Europe and now in America, where the serious money is now. All of these people have their place in society, and have done so down through the ages. So what else is new? Well, now we face the same phenomena in the gay world, where we can see pretty boys "marrying" millionaires (just check out Palm Springs or St. Tropez if you doubt me). There is a definite distinction between an escort and a whore, but the distinction cannot be claimed by the actors themselves, but rather through their comportment. And who was it who said that the ideal wife was the one who was a perfect hostess in the living room, and a whore in the bedroom?! Not so different for escorts.:-)

No, it's not in the wrong place.

I wasn't using the word "peoples'", defined as "a body of persons that are united by a common culture, tradition, or sense of kinship, that typically have common language, institutions, and beliefs, and that often constitute a politically organized group". I was using "people", defined as "human beings making up a group or assembly or linked by a common interest". In this case, the common interest being whores.

Nice try though.

Accurately yours,

One of the things that FFF does so brilliantly is that he knows how to work his audience. He probably has a little checklist with everyone's name on it and drops the requsiite phrase, word or comment that will elict the expected Pavlovian response. I am sure he gets a kick out of knowing that he can work so many of you here so easily.

This entire string is very interesting. However, when I saw the topic, I immediately registered to post a reply.

I met Lance on his trip to NYC prior to the one where he was reviewed. I , also, was impressed by the reviews I read. (I will have to take note in the future of how many reviews a person has posted.) In any case, I made an appointment to see him. I got to his hotel room, and it took him about five minutes to answer the door. When I walked in he kept on doing whatever he was doing and not paying attention to me. When we got to sex, he asked if I had lube or condoms and told me he doesn't travel with those because he's afraid his girlfriend (live-in, I believe) would find them. I felt as though I was being stereotypically treated the way good looking straight guys treat women - as second class citizens. In any case, I know many escorts who's boyfriends are not escorts, but, are open with their boyfriends about what they do. In Lance's case, I really did not want to hear about his girlfriend. I have my own definition of escort vrs hustler, and Lance fits the description of a straight hustler who thinks his looks will allow him take make a bunch of money off fags.
