Are you asking about porn or escorting?

 

In the porn world, a bareback video pays 3-5 times what a "mainstream" video pays. Of course, that's a double edged sword, because once you've done a bareback video you'll never work for one of the mainstream companies.

 

That's today, anyway. It's a rather pitched battle (sadly) in the industry. Chi Chi LaRue remains steadfast in her resolve AGAINST barebacking, for example. If she won't use an actor, there's an awful lot of porn that actor will never be in.

Yes its a trend. Its called getting "charged up". People actually WANT to contract HIV for whatever strange reason.

 

I assume the new phamaceuticals have given some the impression that the disease can be managed. However, a couple of my long time HIV positive friends often complain of the side effects of the drugs sometimes being worse than the disease itself.

 

Perhaps these individuals who are so anxious to take this risk have never seen the reality of HIV. Perhaps they have never lost a lover or friend or spent time as a caregiver. If they had then I don't see why they would want to even consider taking such a risk.
