I know this topic has been discussed often, but I thought I would share some thoughts and raise a point or two. Over the weekend, I was with an escort who I had an in-call appointment with and while we were in bed talking, a little bell sounded and he explained that was my time to leave. I ripped this escort a new one in my review which should be posted in a couple of days, for a variety of reasons, all of which can be read later, but this was truly a first for me.

 

I've met with some incredible escorts and for the most part, none of them have ever told me, it was time for me to leave. I always check my watch before and after and usually it's always within an hour anyway, but I have had a few escorts that where we have been really into each other and before we both know it, we've gone well over the time paid for. I was not asked for additional money, nor did I offer.

 

While some may have the opinion that I am cheating the escort out of an additional hour, I think otherwise. This very same escort told me after we had a 2+ hour fuck-fest - we went at hard for all but 10 mins. }> - that it all washed out in the end, as far as the fee is concerned. He explained that a majority of his appointments are over in 20 minutes, mainly because the clients want to suck his dick and because of his large size, most of them cum while jacking off, sucking his dick. They also tend to tell him there would be no way they could take him up the ass, so his appointments tend to be over quickly. He doesn't offer to give the client any type of refund in which case, he feels if a client goes beyond time paid for, it evens out with the clients that literally end their sessions in a short time.

 

I would be curious to hear the opinions of both clients and escorts about this subject and if you feel that I cheated the escort or that this escort cheats his clients by taking the full fee in far less than the agreed upon time.

 

Oh yeah, this same escort told me rule number one for being an escort is to lie about your age and that EVERYONE does it, if they claim they're not as old as they really are, then they are a liar. This particular escort was in his 40's and I never would have known had he not admitted that to me.

As a client, I consider a session to be one hour, 15 minutes plus or minus.

Less than 45 minutes and I feel cheated.

More that 45 minutes and I'm taking advantage of his time.

 

That said, I have had many sessions run well over 1:15 where the guy seemed to be having a good time and in no hurry to leave. THOSE are the sessions where I tip.

I can say with the exception of one session all mine have been overnights. I really want to get to know the person or persons.The one time it was an hour appointment it was with two hot escorts in Orlando. Blake and Adrian and I was with another escort on the trip. Most of my clients are quite respectful regarding the agreed upon amount of time we're to spend together. Yes, there are quite a few who are out the door in less than an hour, some less than 1/2 an hour.

 

I don't mind if an appt. runs a little longer(15 mins.-1/2 an hour).

Some clients feel like they've gotten their money's worth in less than an hour and others want every second of that hour. I have no problem asking a client to leave if it's well past time.

 

If you don't feel like you're getting your money's worth, then you should only patronize escorts who will allow you to run over the agreed upon time. I do think it's tacky to set a timer and I wouldn't see an escort again who did such a thing.

 

Why should an escort offer to refund any part of his fee if things happen to finish in 1/2 the time? The escort I've hired over 200 times often leaves in less than an hour. I don't mind at all. I'm paying for "quality" not "quantity".

I explain to everyone that once we go over 85 minutes, they need to pay me in 30 minute intervals. If the session were to end in less than an hour, I would spend the time conversing with them. With my clients, this has never happened. I never double book, only when traveling and simply as a consequence of limited time in a city like I just was in Portland, do I ever see two clients in one day.

 

With most of my clients, we often do the hour (or agreed upon session) and then often spend as much as 30 minutes (unpaid), talking about whatever they want to talk about.

 

I am tipped perhaps 33% of the time, sometimes more, I assume generally because they felt I did an especially good job.

I have not ever had a problem with length of an appointment and to my knowledge either have the escorts I've hired. I have had appointments of various lengths and usually the time is under or over by no more than 10 - 20 minutes. I'll usually give an escort a tip if I go over 20 minutes, this way they do not feel "cheated "

I think we may be missing an important part of the point here. Steve, the original poster, says that he has gone over the time several times before with this same escort. While it is possible that the escort said nothing about it at the time, he may have felt put upon between sessions. There is no reason to believe that this escort regularly puts his clients on a timer, especially as he hadn't done it with this client before. It sounds to me like he may have used a very unobstrusive timer (do I correctly remember the phrase, "a tiny bell"?) to help him break this particular client of what he saw as a bad habit.

We both knew (without saying anything) that I would be hiring him again. I think escorts need to be fexible on the first appointment.

To me, a sure turn off would be tole about paying extra after 85 minutes. That is a way to lose a potentially excellent, long time client. If you say that to ALL of your first time client. I think that is a big mistake. I do understand, if the escort feels that he has been manipulated into the situation.

Since I mostly do outcalls, I think a tip is often a way to reimburse taxi fares and make the escort whole.

This is the way I handle a one or two hour session with an escort.

 

Being a somewhat obsessive guy over matters of time allocations and having been raised to be a considerate sweet-ass by my mom, I try to "spread-out" the session with the 'scort over the agreed upon time.

 

That is, if I have a two hour appointment, I really do try to postpone the "big event" (the climax part) for as long as possible. For me this is usually about an hour and 45 minutes or so into the session, which may sometimes be prefaced with a shower, (preferrably together!)

 

All of this is very much dependent also on the chemistry of the both of us, more so for a first time engagement, in which I think both client and escort need to "feel" each other out, both physically and emotionally (within the limits of a paid sex session, of course!).

 

I have lucky enough to have been with guys who enjoy a combination of sex and conversation, so that the spread of a session seems very natural over the 1.5 or so hours that I seem to take for the sex part. I also make it a point to be cognizant about the 'scort's time because these sessions are truly business sessions. I would only be more lax with the time if it were an overnighter, 'cause along with the escort's tab, I also pick up the tabs for dinner at a quality San Francisco restaurant, and also at breakfast the next morning. But AGAIN, even with a long term overnight relationship, I find it is wise to never assume that the guy will treat his time as gratus, because no matter how good the times and chemistry are, I'm still essentially a CLIENT, and I do not want to impinge on the escort's "personal" time.

My sessions, like those of just about every escort or companion I have come across, either by reviews, or in person, are an hour long. What I meant to say, and if I didn't say it correctly, was that I have had appointments that have gone beyond the hour limit, however, it was nothing that the escort himself wasn't in control of. I couldn't agree with you more, though some here get bent out of shape over the tipping issue. And I appreciate the situation of the fixed income clients who have to watch their resources. Giving a gratuity is my way of saying I enjoyed myself, and appreciated the escort's efforts in that regard. If I had a bad experience, there would be no inclination to tip. So far, I can say that while some escorts have been more enjoyable to be with than others, in every instance I had a good time and tipped accordingly.

 

And as for the ringing bell to signal the end of the session, that's definitely tacky. Then, on the other hand, I'm not one to abuse the escort's time beyond what I've paid for, hence they wouldn't need the egg timer.

Especially with masseurs, it is worth checking on the time schedule. For example, while I can make a session shorter for you if you ask me in time, my sessions usually are a little over an hour and a half. And, generally speaking, since I hate to be rushed, I have for many years quoted my minimum escorting sessions as for being up to two hours. I only ran into a problem with that once when a client wanted me to plunge into him with no foreplay and keep fucking him for the full two hours. Bleah! Where's the fun and variety in that?
