Red flag?

I sent a message to a rent massure provider a few weeks ago. Message was saying I was interested and wanted basic information like availability and anything else they wanted to provide. I assumed cost would be provided as they don't have anything posted. Never heard back from the provider then they made their profile invisible. I can still see them on my favorite list though. Assumed they were not accepting people currently or something.  Just yesterday I received a reply back that just says "yah let's do it". Profile is still invisible and no other information in the message. Is this a red flag or just testing the waters if I'm still interested.  Reviews are all positive on both rm and here. Not a ton of reviews but nothing concerning. A few even mention great communication. Any thoughts?

I have no idea if it's a red flag but I would probably move on. Not so much because of the lag but because they seem overextended or something is going on for them personally. The other option is to be direct and ask why the delay and restate your questions.

Not really sure what to think of that. I mean, you would think in a business you would want to respond to your customers. That's the way you get business.. My suggestion is just be careful. Send them another message and ask them what their rates are, and what type of massage, and see how they respond, and go from there.

What exactly do you mean when you say he made his “profile invisible”?

The profile doesn't show up anymore if you search my area. I live in a bit of a provider desert. So it's sort of obvious that he's not there. You can still go directly to the listing though. Not sure if invisible is the correct wording but he definitely doesn't show up normally.

One reason his profile may not be showing up in your local search is that he could be traveling to other locations, which would also explain the delayed response.

Maybe one of the guys is great at communication and one isn't.  If not looking for a 4 handed massage, try asking directly for the rate to see each one individually.  Unless they only work together, each one should be able to respond with his own rate and availability.

Caution flag?  Definitely.

Theres something going on…but I’m more put off by the ‘Yeah, let’s do it!’ response than anything else

Is this just with you logged into the Rentmasseur site or is his profile also not visible when you aren't logged in?  

I would definitely move on mostly because of the lame response you eventually got.  You asked specific questions and then after a delay just got a "let's do it" response?  If he's incapable or not interested in actually responding to your written message, how attuned would he be in person?

I originally thought blocked as well but even not logged in he still doesn't show up. 

I appreciate all the responses. Relatively new to this so while my gut told me this didn't seem normal, I wasn't completely sure.
