“Changed their rates”

I had a notification on RM that one of my buddies had changed their rates. What is this? I mean are rates posted on an ad and after all this time I have never seen them? Are they hidden? Thanks for an explanation.

That's a great question.  I don't think rates are shown in the US but I think the provider must have the option to indicate what they are because if you run a search based on rates you get different results by using different ranges.  So the inference is that the provider can set rates (even if it doesn't show up in their profile) and that you are notified if they change (even though you were never provided with original rate information).  Just another suboptimal feature of the platform.

Rates aren't shown when accessed from a US IP address.

In my experience, rates aren't shown for providers located in the US regardless of the IP address (i.e., even if you are using a VPN for another country).

I've noticed this too. Was thinking it might be a rentmen.eu versus rent.men (i only use the latter with VPN) thing maybe? Rentmen.eu with a non-U.S. IP address may be where rates can be seen. I've noticed other small quirk differences between the two before. I haven't tried it to confirm though.
