There is an increasing number of IG profiles that are AI derived from real people IG profiles.  They focus on changing the image of the person slightly but leave everything else in the video the same.  You sometimes only catch it if you look at the towels or other background elements are the same between the real and AI fakes.  I don't think IG is keeping up with screening the AI images and videos as the technology becomes more accessible to the masses.

I'll admit that I only watched through Brazil because I got bored.  If the images aren't too scrubbed looking (not realistic looking skin), they have other distracting artifacts like exaggerated folds between the eyes or on the forehead or overly stern looks.  There's also a much stronger homogeneity in these images than I think exists in reality. I generally continue to be underwhelmed by AI.  I'm told that it's only a short time before it eliminates a ton of jobs, finds a cure for cancer, etc, etc.  Yet when I type a query into Google it's AI search results frequently contains details that I know are incorrect.  As they say, garbage in garbage out.  Back to this slide show of fake allegedly "most handsome men," I certainly wouldn't have come up with men who look like what I saw during the first minute.
