I have no experience with him. But for what it's worth, I'd probably give him a go if RM communications went well. No PNP. Plays safe. 

I feel like this forum is becoming less and less useful. I'm not sure why, but few people seem anymore have anything to add to a 411 these days. I almost never get a response, and I rarely see anyone ask about someone I have had experiences with in the past two years. 

Any theories as to why the exchange of helpful intel is happening less and less often? Or it that a false presumption or isolated experience on my part?

I've been feeling a bit similarly lately. I feel like for me personally, the type of guys i like aren't the type that are most popular here. So people aren't trying those guys much, if at all, and thus have no intel when i make a post about them here. I also have guys i hire but have never seen anyone ask about here.

I also think more and more, people are sticking to the same set of well reviewed providers. Which is somewhat understandable, but yeah i feel like sharing info on newer/up and coming guys or guys who just aren't the norm isn't as robust here. No one wants to be the one to take the chance when they can just hire from the go-to list again. Everyone's just becoming more risk averse. Which is also understandable, but just not conducive to us getting intel on newer guys or those guys being able to build reputation.

Some of the guys i do take the chance on myself (which i'm doing more and more often), i then don't report back here about them because if there isn't already a thread on the guy, i assume no one else here was interested in him.
