This Friday night 29 May - Buffdaddys and Adonis clash?

Hi everyone!

I plan to be in NYC this weekend and I was expecting to go to Buffdaddy’s as I see they have an event from 5-10pm at RedEye.

However I have now just received an email for an Adonis party for the same evening at the same time. At least one dancer seems to be someone I was hoping to see at Buffdaddy’s. It would be hard to go to both events, not least since Adonis requires a $100 payment in advance.

Any advice?

The two events are the same evening, but not at the same time, although there is some overlapping.
You can start the evening off at the Buffdaddy event at Redeye (5 -10PM), stay for a few hours, and still have time to get to the Adonis event (7PM - 2AM) and spend a few hours there. 
If you only want to go to one of the events, here are some things you may want to consider:

Buffdaddy: $20 at the door.                            Adonis: $100.00 in advance
Buffdaddy: Lap dances in a private cubicle.    Adonis: Lap dances in a wide open room shared with other dancers/customers.
Buffdaddy: Relaxing 70's/80's music.              Adonis: Honestly, it's been so long. Bozo doesn't remember the type, if any, music they play.
Buffdaddy: Gay owned/operated.                   Adonis: NOT gay owned/operated.

The two times I've been to BuffDaddys@RedEye recently, it's been really dark and the club/house music has been SUPER loud. Plus the fog machine has been running at near-toxic levels. 

Do different nights have different djs?

The 5 times I've been to BuffDaddys at Red Eye (twice last year, and thrice last month), there was never a fog machine and the music was low enough to hold a conversation at the bar without shouting.  I recognized some 80s hits. 

I visited on Fridays and Wednesdays.

In reference what is being talked about. The fog machine, lights are all programmed by a IPad. At times the IPad has a mind of its own and will release a lot of fog and mess up the lights. So I been on top of that for a month or so to make sure that the fog is working properly.  My idea of the Filthy Fridays is to bring you back to the dive bars of the seventies.  Cats, LeFlures,  Stella's and others I cant think of off hand. Those are the times when everyone smoked at the bar and the boys would hustle around the bar. It was dark and we didn't have to go out at midnight to see dancers .Most of my customers at RedEye  want it dark. I tried to make it brighter but got hollered at LOL. If you're coming to show off your jewelry or new shoes  this isn't the place for you. Its down and dirty on Fridays and our number of customers keep growing.  Hopefully this helps.  You guys can always email me about any concerns you have.  [email protected]
