I’m not totally sure this is the right place for this topic, so feel free to move it and gently educate me if needed. 🧐

Facebook keeps serving me ads for Mingleo, and I’ll admit… I’m intrigued. I’m also a little skeptical because I haven’t found much real feedback about it. Honestly, this might be the first post on here discussing it at all.

From what I can tell, it’s not a hookup app — more of a platform meant to help gay men build meaningful, real‑life connections outside the usual bar or hookup‑app circuit. That idea appeals to me. I’ve never had a big circle of gay friends; a few here and there [and many were older and now gone], but never that “pack” you see some guys have. As I get older, I’m realizing I’d really like to build a small circle of genuine connections.

So I’m curious: has anyone here tried Mingleo? Any first‑hand experiences, impressions, or even one‑off feedback you’d be willing to share with the group?

Bumping. I, too, am curious about others’ experiences with Mingleo. It sounds like a cool idea, but since the ads I’ve seen have featured conventionally attractive guys in their 30s (and maybe early 40s), I wonder how different (if at all) it is from looks-based hook up apps.

I am seeing posts on my Instagram feed too and some of them appear to be using older men;  it's similar to posts I've seen for straight young people; I always hesitate to go to gay bars but this could be a better alternative; if someone goes to one, keep us posted, please
