Classical, Antonin Dvorak Symphony No. 9 (From the New World), 1991 performance by the Munich Philharmonic and conducted by Sergiu Celibidache, for at least the 35th time. A masterpiece by a genius performed by skilled artisans and inspiringly conducted by a master of tone and tempo. It has no equal. Available on YouTube.

80’s British rock (New Order, Depeche Mode etc.), classical, jazz, trance, older country, roots, Americana. I’m all over the place.

Musically I’m all over the place. My iTunes playlist defies description. That said, in the car it’s either classical or classic 80’s. Also, “Classic Country”, which, for me, is pretty much anything pre-90’s going back to late 60’s (yes, I am that old) and predominantly female. Exception - 1994-1996 country brings back happy memories of my 1st husband.

Although I possess numerous CDs, I have gotten into the habit of only turning on a radio station called "Classical California" when I want to listen to music, especially when I am driving. It's a "classical music" (e.g., Bach, Beethoven, Stravinsky, etc.) station, hence the name.

Not by choice but by circumstance, I’m listening to a lot of Filipino pop music — cabdriver has it playing, piped through at the mall, singer at a restaurant.  OMG, it is awful!
