You’re only speaking about the US. In Canada most wildfires are caused by lightning. Canada has a larger landmass than the US and vastly more boreal forest areas.

You are missing the point. 8 out of 10  cases of STD transmissions can be avoided by using condoms according to the WHO and NIH.

Everyone here should preach and do as they see fit. But you know you're totally living in an alternate universe right? Like those preachers on the subway platform wailing at the top of their lungs. They may not be wrong but they're living in somewhat of an alternate universe just as I propose the theme here compared to the lives of 98% of gay men. And in 2026 thank god they're not dropping like flies.

I'm giving a reason why they may do this. 

Not all STIs are as serious as others. I cannot read their minds as to why and only give specific suppositions. Some can be treated by antibiotics or what have you. 

You asked why peole do this. I gave a suggestion, which can only ever be a suggestion.
