I'm seeing there is a lot of variation in what escorts charge. I'm curious what factors you consider when deciding if an escort is worth the price or not.

My interest in guys is pretty narrow, so it's got to be a 'yes' for me before I reach out. If the response and price is satisfactory, then I can book. If a guy wasn't my 'type', not only would I not know the price, but wouldn't be interested if free.

Well I am always interested in free.  Not to say that it is always a yes, but depending on the star alignment and hormomal levels, free always seems to be an option I will consider.  I started out with a very narrow range of type of men to whom I was attracted.  As my experience has increases, I find I have a greater range.  That being the case, if I am interested enough to call, I am interested enough in paying the price within reason.  Convenience to location or having them willing to visit me will play a role and I will pay a bit more for that convenience.  When I lived in NJ that was definitely the case with NY escorts coming out to visit me.  

Ultimately once the little head is involved, price definitely is less of an issue as the big head usually is the one taking that into consideration.

One big thing I filter on these days is lucidity in their replies. If they text like they can barely comprehend or process basic communication, I will stop the conversation quite fast. 

The main reasons I pay for escorts is ease of scheduling and convenience.

While there's variation in what escorts charge, that variation is not THAT wide.  In NYC, where I usually hire, hourly rates are between $300 and $500, with $400 being the most common figure quoted.  (Second hours or longer sessions are usually less per hour, etc.)  Of course, there are the $1,000 an hour guys, who I don't even consider.  But within the "normal" range, I'm insensitive to price and make a hiring decision based on looks, convenience (whether and where they can host), reviews, and vibe from the initial communications.  In my experience, I never had a good session with a $300 guy that wouldn't have been just as good if he cost $500 and I've never had a bad session with a $500 guy that would have been any better if I'd only paid $300.

There's a checklist of things I look for in a provider which include physical traits and things they'll do or get into. So if someone for instance checks off every, or almost every, box I'm more than willing to pay the very top of my comfort zone what they charge.

It’s a curated setting, he is a ‘must have’,  and my FOMO impels me to pursue first dibs in order to push other punters out of the way. I’m not a musketeer.
