What is MONSTER like on a Saturday night?

I visited Spunk at Monster on both Saturday and Thursday nights this week.  Thursday was much more enjoyable due to smaller crowds and fewer drag performances.  I had a great time during a private dance with no interruptions.

I went to the Spunk/The Monster pre-Pride event on Thursday, where they billed that 40+ go-go dancers would be there. I got there a little before 11PM. The place really started filling up around 11:30PM. There were certainly a lot of dancers, probably around close to that number, but it didn't seem like much more than a regular busy night.

The Monster continues to be the best at not only a large number, but a large variety of men. From twinks, to twunks, to muscular guys; I truly think there's something for everyone. I like muscular guys myself, and Carlo and another Dominican guy with super short hair and the most boulder shoulders you'll ever see, fit the bill. I wish bodybuilders still would come to these kind of events, but I think those days are over. 

The venue itself hasn't changed, and I enjoy it. Great bar that's not horribly overpriced, really good DJ, iPads counting the time in the private rooms, and drag queens sprinkled in the mix. There were some ladies there, but they weren't obnoxious, which was nice. Overall, a really nice evening.
