Maybe escorts shouldn't be handed the money upfront. I have hired escorts before where they ask to see the money, but I have never handed them any cash till the session was over. Mr. Holloway has obviously changed his ways of buisness, because two years ago he was a real escort who preformed his job. Now I am hearing that he is a scam artist. I wonder what made him change his approach towards escorting. Maybe he actually did get screwed over by a client and that made him become enraged and now he is taking it out on other clients. I think thats a possibility.

Maybe six months ago, when AH was being accused of asking for money wired up front and then never showing up, I became curious. So much of what was written seemed almost too much to believe to me -- how could any one bad escort find so many willingly-stupid clients in such a short time? -- that I found myself wondering if it was possible that he was, in fact, the victim of some vindictive or neurotic Internet personality.

Since I was curious and his photos seemed somewhat attractive, I decided to hire him. I didn't mention this site or the scandals, but instead simply made an appointment. He didn't know me from Adam. He didn't ask for money up front, wired or otherwise. He showed up on time -- actually, a little early -- and didn't ask for the money on arrival. He didn't make any promises that he didn't follow through on, he was quite charming, he didn't watch the clock and, on his own volition, he stayed around for longer than the time we had agreed upon.

He's not really my type and for that reason I doubt I would hire him again. But the AH I saw acted responsibly from start to finish.

I bring this up only because there seems to be a real mindset here at times that portrays certain people, clients or escorts, as either all good or all bad. I find most people are more complex than that. One of the ways this mindset seems to exhibit itself is to immediately claim that any person who defends one of the "bad guys" must be that person himself in an alternate persona. This strategy, of course, makes it impossible for the person being attacked to be defended or to tell his side of the story.

Well, God and everyone else here knows I'm not Anthony Holloway. And the events occurred exactly as I have portrayed them.

I have no personal knowledge of what has occurred between AH and anyone else. I thought some of the tales told about him were pretty hard to believe when I read them the first time and I still feel that way; nevertheless, they could be true. All I know is that he acted very decently with me and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to someone else.

And, in making that recommendation, I would also recommend never paying for services before receiving those services.

I certainly wish you had written this in review form.

This guy has taken a lot of abuse and I undersstand he has a stalker.

I do not know him nor have I ever met him but I am sensitive to stalkers and rival escort jealousy.

There are some evil people out there.

There is a positive review of him in the queue by a first time reviewer which I am in the process of checking out.

Since you have a good reputation around here, one that I would not have to spend time and money researching, I think you did him and all of us a disservice by witholding this information.

Yes, it would certainly be nice to know if Anthony Holloway is in fact a dishonest escort or whether he is the victim of a sick stalker who relentlessly pursues him with negativity. Boston Guy, it isn't too late to add your review to Holloway's listings, and if there is a positive review in the queue THAT CHECKS OUT, it will go a long way to establishing the truth here.

>Hey Deej, where can we read

>these bona-fide interviews of yours?

They're posted in semi-regular intervals at cockring.org. Only two are up so far, but there are a half-dozen or so queued up and ready to go.

The publication schedule is out of my hands, but I'll drop HooBoy a note whenever a new one goes up. Watch the e-mail section.

Hooboy,

Mr. Holloway told me about his stalker also. Do you happen to know who this man is? Another question I must ask... Beware of Nick, Have you ever met Anthony Holloway in person?

The fact that someone has stolen from clients in the past certainly doesn't mean he will always do so, but it does mean he is capable of it and so should be avoided. If I am not mistaken at least one of the reviewers who claimed this about AH is one of the "consistent credibility" reviewers, isn't that so?

I don't know about "everyone." I, for one, have no idea who you are. I have no reason to think that you are making up your story about AH but on the other hand I can remember a couple of occasions when you have gone to great lengths to defend escorts who others said had behaved very badly. All of us who visit this site and read these reviews are in the same position as jurors. We are asked to evaluate the testimony of people we don't know and decide for ourselves how much if any credibility it should be given. For my part, when I hear a bunch of negative things about an escort from any source I'm going to err on the side of caution and avoid him. There are so many escorts one can hire, why take unnecessary risks?

Erring on the side of caution is pretty good advice, but the fact that one can load up these reviews with negative and untrue information about an individual is certainly a drawback of a review site like this. It only takes one enemy to adopt a variety of poses to ensure that someone's reputation is put into that frame of cautioness.
