This guy sometimes advertises with a duo partner. He's a scammer who refused to perform as agreed, and who I then caught rifling through my drawers when I had gone to another room. Caveat emptor.

He's been posted here before related to the same thing. Either under a previous name, or a 411 thread about his partner. I forgot his previous RM name and his partner's RM name.

So you hired him a year ago (March, 2024), had the experience you describe above in the OP, warned everyone to stay away from him and......you hire him AGAIN a year later ? 

What am I missing ?

What you are missing is that I did not hire him again. I happened to notice recently that he was advertising again with a different name and simply wanted to alert my fellow customers that this was the same guy.  I thought that was the purpose behind this forum - to keep consumers educated about the market. 

Is that ok with you? If not, then by all means please go ahead and hire him.
