The NYC FetLife community is so big, I'd bet there's a group discussion on the topic.

To me, I think CNC could be fun, but I'd want the agreement of who, what, when, and where on paper or video before it happened.  That scenario gone wrong could ruin one or more people's lives.  There have been stories of people taking out phony CNC ads listing their ex's or perceived-enemy's address and photo to set up real-non-consensual attacks.  That idea terrifies me.

I'd want to meet with everyone involved in a non-scene setting before over coffee (no drugs or alcohol) so we're all in agreement about what's going to happen and what is and is not going to be okay.
