New layout? Chrome on iOS

The site has started to render weird on iOS on chrome.  I have switched between render as mobile vs desktop and both have a pretty clunky layout.  Anyone else seeing this?

When I tried to log in a few hours ago, I saw a totally changed site that I found very hard to read and navigate. When I logged in again just now, I see the old familiar site. It's a puzzlement.

It appears to me to be dark mode. When you enable dark mode on iOS (I tried 3 browsers), everything goes wonky. Fortunately I found where to disable dark mode, but I’m sure many others just think the site is broken.

I had the site in dark mode, and it was rendering completely out of whack. Turned off dark mode, and now it’s working fine.

That's the edited gist of a reply I made to a member about this, summarising things as I saw them. I don't know what's happened but it least it isn't site-wide and we can read it sensibly although not in the way some of us prefer.

It looks like Invision made some changes to the way static files are cached.  I've rebuilt the dark mode theme and that seems to have cleared up the problem.

Everything about the site was different when I checked in yesterday in mid-morning. The opening page had a huge image of my ID photo and the print was small and blue against a blue-gray background, very hard to read.

It's messed up for me again when I use the Legacy theme.

Interesting, it's working properly for me in all four themes.

It's working again for me. Maybe I need to clear my cache if it happens again.

If the site ever looks crazy... the first thing to try is clearing the browser cache.  If it continues happening, it's possible something is funky at the CDN cache layer.  Just toss a note to me and I can clear it by rebuilding the site theme.  It works because it renames all of the files used to something else so even if it's incorrect, the new file name would be retrieved fresh.

It's still giving me issues when logging in sometimes but I just have to keep refreshing until it loads and then I'm good. Weird.

Then it's definitely a browser cache issue.  If it's happening intermittently that a refresh eventually clears, it's something local.
