Grindr logo on Provider’s pictures

I found a provider in UK on sleepyboy.com. 
He has close to 10 pictures on his profile with and without a face. About half of the pictures have Grindr watermarks and the other half doesn’t. 
His WhatsApp account has a face picture as well and the face matches.

The pictures were uploaded 2 months ago. No reviews on the account.

He is not very close to where I am so it would take me an hour to get to his place. I don’t want to make a trip only to find out it’s a lie or scam.

Is it common for providers to use snapshots of their Grindr pictures? Is there an easy way to verify that the pictures are legitimate and not stolen off some random guy’s account? I don’t want to ask for more pictures since he might have more of stolen pictures.

This points to two scenarios:

1. Bullshit provider account.

2. Provider is incapable of managing his own photos on his own phone and is for some reason using screenshots of himself that he took from his own Grindr. 

Do you really want to get involved with either scenario?

He has a WhatsApp account, so you can have a video call with him, that will give you proof that he exists, looks like in his profile and at least that part is real. Not a guarantee about not being a scam, but it helps.

- profile not showing the blue "Verified" bar under the provider's name at the top

- minimal profile content - just enough to get registered. In particular, "Activities" and "Fetish" sections completely missing; short, cursory "me too" wording in the "About Me" section, no 'flavour' of there being a real individual behind the profile;

- verified photos are available to viewers (from the blue 'verified' bar mentioned above)

Worth googling the phone number to see if the provider appears on multiple escort websites, which might give further information and/or hints as to newness.

Where are you in the UK that you have to travel an hour to meet a provider?

I am not in UK yet but will be travelling there next month. I mostly likely stay in London or nearby. The provider’s account was near London. 
The provider’s account on sleepyboy is now gone as of this morning. So no longer need to verify the pictures
