Thanks, I was aware of the 2 different links.   However, providers sometimes do change their links for various reasons, and the XXX link is not active.

Yes, the link is active but the ad is not. It would be odd if Alex had opened a new ad while he had one that was still up on RM. But he may have.

Thanks everyone for the feedback.  I’ve decided that the profile is probably a fake, so won’t chance a hire.  But if someone knows otherwise, let me know!

FWIW: He may have frozen his NYC ad while he travels.  Of course, the easiest way to tell if it's really him is to ask for a FaceTime session that shows the tattoo covering most of his back.

Oh, that old thing???  Almost everybody and their grandmother has a life-size Madonna and Child tattooed across their entire backs these days, and the temporary removable versions are on sale priced for immediate clearance.  😉

I sent Mr. Volkov an IM in Rentmen yesterday inquiring about his availability and rates in Columbus. He sent a reply back stating that I was required to "Say hello first" before he would answer my questions. It reminded me of the scene in A Few Good Men when Colonel Nathan Jessup told Lt. Danny Kaffee that he would give him a copy of Santiago's transfer orders but "You have to ask me nicely."

I will pass on Mr. Volkov.

Sounds like Mr. Volkov is a gentleman. Kudos providers who try to make all this a little less "transactional."
