after closer look you are probably correct - there is a large Thai Chinese (Chinese Thai?0 population in Bangkok but nothing in his profile "speaks Thai" to me - he could also be Singapreoan Chinese.... no clue

If you go to the boy bars to pick one out GO EARLY and pick out your favorite IMMEDIATELY. Well… my three cents from my own personal experience: RM isn’t your best resource to find local Thai guys. To find the locals, go in person to the local boi bars. It’s still an in person experience. Which is unbeatable. Then there is Hunqz. But the in person experience is where it is at:  so see:

Recently was in Thailand the entire month of August.  As has been suggested, the best place to connect with local Thai guys is in the gay clubs, bars, and saunas.  My Thai friends also recommend using Jack'd if you prefer apps.  That seems to be the most popular among the Thai gay community.   I did connect with one person who advertises on RM primarily.  His name is Alex and he is from Vietnam.  He advertises b2b massage.  While I would give his massage skills a C+, the extras were definitely an A++ and I would hire again.  I also had a fantastic experience with one of the therapists as Prestige Spa at Sathorn BTS.  He has since left Prestige and was working at Zen Prime the last month.  Zen Prime recently changed owners, so not sure if he is still on staff there or not.  He is definitely a trained therapist, so the massage itself was fantastic.  He also identifies as gay and the extras were outstanding.  His name is Poom, is Thai, and I discovered he has an ad on RM after I returned to the states.   I personally had a great experience with both and would definitely hire them again.  As is always the case, however, YMMV.   Here are links to them both.

Although his ad is on Rentmen, the text would give someone the impression he is really only offering massage with lots of body contact.  He really is available for full service and does list some things he is into on the ad.

More important is that fact that they're "mostly" white guys who occasionally visit Bangkok. They were in Bangkok at the time you were on RM.

They're not locals.

I assume that the OP wanted information about Thai and other Southeast Asian providers, but I could be wrong.

In Bangkok no one uses RM - overpriced visitors mostly and definitely not a Thai style. Many easier nicer ways to meet local talent!
