I like these in theory but changing the refills or even just pulling it up to see how much is left is a huge pain with these. The top always pops off which can become messy. Still use it though because it's still better than other travel options.

For trips is either carrying a bottle in a Ziplock bag or one small one-use small bags.

I tried Pjur for the first time recently, based on recommendations here. I was surprised because it felt better in my ass than other silicone lubes I've tried. Previously I'd thought that water vs silicone vs oil was pretty much all that really mattered but I guess not.

The packaging/bottle sucks though. Screw top for lube? I might repackage it for myself in a better container.

I wonder what about it makes it feel more comfortable. Maybe the jojoba oil? I can't imagine there's much oil in it since it's latex compatible.

My skin seems to absorb everything but silicone lube very quickly.   Silicone is my general-purpose go-to lube.  It provides the most durable lubrication that I've tried.

I use water-based lube on silicone rubber toys to keep them from turning into goo.

I would like to find a silicone lube that's a bit thicker and more viscous so I could apply it more precisely.  Spilled silicone lube creates a real mess.  Spilled silicone lube on a tile floor is DANGEROUS.

I was lucky to be on a flight back home when a silicone lube bottle leaked in my checked luggage.  I'd have had to scramble if I arrived in another city with all of my clean clothes soaked in silicone lube.

Maybe you could consider using a resealable bag, even for your checked luggage. In my opinion these are very practical:

Yes.  In fact, I put the lube bottle in one ziplock and put that ziplock bag inside another ziplock bag now.

Very smart. Beware the Eros thick silicone lube cums in a 17 oz (500 ml) package, so it's to large for a carry-on bag.

According to the info I found jojoba oil is not compatible with latex condoms or polyisoprene condoms. Jojoba oil is compatible with polyurethane condoms, for example Trojan No Latex polyurethane condoms:

Normally the rule is the oil is not compatible with latex or polyisoprene but Pjur explicitly states that all of their lubes are latex safe. Which leads me to believe there isn't much jojoba oil in there, or at least not enough to break down the latex. If it was just straight oil instead of being primarily silicone it would probably be different story.

From their website: All of our personal lubricants undergo a condom test. So you can rest assured that all pjur personal lubricants are also compatible with latex condoms.

Large and well-endowed cocks absolutely require the use of silicone lube, with an undeniable emphasis on require. The smooth, lasting, fresh glide provided by silicone isn't just a suggestion—water based might rip ass haha. Without silicone, the experience gets far less enjoyable in time, and potentially even painful, due to the greater sizes and increased friction. When it comes to really big cocks, silicone lube isn’t just a nice-to-have, it's a non-negotiable necessity.

A gentle reminder that this thread is about types of lube to use, not about condom use (although which lubes are compatible with condoms is okay). Off topic comments will be removed, as some already have.
