I’ve been tempted to hire off of mintboys but yeas it seems too risky.  I’m not even sure if there is a way to leave a review??

I'm just asking, because with all these free ads and the "Las Vegas" model, there's a good risk of a bad hire.

I've contacted several guys and ended up hiring two from Mintboys. One was great and the other one seemed a bit sketchy. Both have also started advertising on RentMen. As for the guys I didn't hire, a couple just seemed interested in sending emails, and the rest either didn't reply or were no longer working. Since then, I've found that the guys I'm interested in also have RM ads so I contact them from there. Most of the guys on MB don't appeal to me.

I haven't hired off of Mintboy, yet.  Usually because the ads there don't tell me enough about the guys to know something about what the guys there are like.  They keep a lot of really old ads too.

The part that does tempt me is that (at least in the cities where I've looked lately) Mintboy had a more diverse-looking sample of guys than RentMen had.

It's a very user-unfriendly website and there's a lot of chaff to sort through to find the wheat.  I reached out to, I think, four advertisers in the past.  Two never responded and one was totally sketchy.  I had a lengthy exchange with one -- he was very normal and had a full-time job but escorted from time to time for a little extra cash.  He wasn't on RM because it was too much of a financial and time commitment.  We couldn't put it together for logistical reasons, but for that I'd have been happy to give it a go.

The website doesn't look too organized or informative. Looks like it's not being managed properly. Never used it because it doesn't look right for me.

I agree, and they have ads from 2021, 2022, and 2023 before 2024 on many pages. That just appears to be intentional poor design on the code folks' part. Maybe an auto delete after "X" months of no activity from the guy's part.

I agree with what everyone else sees - old ads, not enough details, and no way to leave feedback.

The only time I hired someone on MB was because they were also on FB (an amateur, only on the market temporarily).

With some ads as old as they are, I wouldn't be surprised if someone else answered the phone. Embarrassing!

It has happened, and I got my @$$ chewed out for texting.

I'm eyeing a particular ad on MintBoys in DFW right now.  Although MintBoys seems like a minimally acceptable ad-space, this escort seems significantly different than others I've seen.
