HPV transmissability - celibacy awaits?!

Thanks SirBB for your thoughts. I suppose semen on body, excluding recipient's mouth, *should* be okay - else it would be transmitted by any skin to skin contact like shaking hands or hugging.

I know some of you may be shouting FGS JUST SIT IT OUT FOR A BIT! But as said above (without wanting to be going too much all poor me😂) I don't really have much else to look forward to. Don't drink anymore, don't smoke, never done drugs and we all need something to look forward to.

I don't think I can afford the vax,

So, today is nearly a month since you posted here about HPV, and your lesion was removed the week before your post. In all that time you still don't even know what the cost would be to pay for vaccination YOURSELF??? I am not sure what you think we are going to conclude from that, but to be very frank, going through my mind is:

-maybe he's not serious about not spreading HPV

-maybe he'd rather chat here than resume an active sex life

-maybe he just wants pitty

-maybe he's just not that bright

For fucks sake, piss or get off the pot man!

You make a lot of assumptions there. I will reply with more courtesy than you deserve.

1. I know the cost of the vaccination and will save for it. But obviously my immediate concern is about transmission status NOW, not any protection conferred in future by vaccination

2. If I was not serious, I would have taken the nurse's comments at face value and would not be bothering to ask Qs

3. I would rather chat here and become informed before resuming an active sex life

4. I don't want pity. I seek advice to not put others at risk. Maybe you don't care like that

5. I am not very bright? What a 'pitty'

Checked with 2 private providers. Over 45, nope. Not licensed for use. I am beyond angry. I am trying to do the right thing by others and no one is budging.

That’s what I am coming up with basically as well for UK.

If you didn’t already reach out to them, It may be a long shot because Lloyds liquidated this year but Lloyds Online Doctor may still exist as a separate entity. It is incorporated as a separate name: Expert Health Limited.

The page on HPV stipulated, albeit ambiguously, that older males (>45) at risk could access Gardasil9 off-label and outside the NHS plan. The lead clinicians seem to be physicians with sexual health focus. Example: Dr Kieran Seyan.

Gardasil is depicted as ‘out of stock’ but that may be due to the retail pharmacy chain’s closure status.

Here’s the number. You might see if it is active and get a lead. I am not sure I would use the online consultation option before first determining by phone if it still exists.

I know an escort who is (secretly 49) and got his first shot last month. He simply went to his primary care physician Medics USA, and from there to the CVS to get the shot and his PrEP renewal.

Keep trying!
