I just tried it too.  It even wants you to upgrade to see the images in the ads. I see it has a couple of levels of membership upgrades at in the $3-something/Mo and the $7-something/Mo ranges.

No Thank You.  With rare exception, that site was just frustrating even for free.

Yup.

Started around 2 years ago that sometimes when you log-in you'll be greeted by a subscription page. To by-pass it I just "Manage Posts" and I'm fine after that.
