I was in NYC for a three day holiday trip years ago.  I had one provider on Christmas Eve, two on Christmas Day, and one on the 26th.  Why waste the trip, right?

I contacted them almost a month prior.  Everyone said they were okay booking clients on those days. One even said “It’s just another day.”

If you doubt my story, ask AlexSanz, Eric Hassan, Alexx, and Arye.  Eric even gave me a bottle of poppers as a holiday gift.

If French Olivier did not flake on me, I would have had five.

You got to open 4 packages. Good on you😊

Christmas alone and hiring working boys, that's sad to me!

Back to subject, I'm sure many escorts are technically available today and tomorrow, but I hope they'll try to be free to at least have dinner with folks closer to them whether they're relatives or friends. Maybe it's just me but I would feel guilty of texting someone today and ask "are you available 8 to 9?", I would rather hire someone at 6 so he can make $ today and go see his loved ones after.

In fact that’s what I’m doing today. I have a session scheduled in a couple of hours. Then tomorrow dinner with family including a cousin who drives me a bit nuts.
So today will prepare me for the ordeal😉

So I mostly hire sensual massages. I have only a few times hired for deeper purposes.

With that said I have reached out to providers on Holidays and always ask them if they are working or have prior commitments.

I have had many. Often due to work the Holiday that lands on a Thursday, Friday etc may be my only day off and I want to enjoy.

However I would be completely understand if a provider wanted to take the day off. I do wish it was easier to know providers schedules.

In the past I had a few that had a calendar link and blackout dates. That was nice. It made planning so much easier.

It’s very easy to get into a habit of working every day in this business. Normally I’m available every day (not that I actually get booked every day but in theory I’m available every day). In practice it works out that I’ll have clients on 4 out of 7 days on average.

But being always available means you don’t make firm plans to do other things, which can be disruptive to your non work life. I’m lucky, most of my other commitments are flexible so I can often see clients and it’s why I advertise as being available 7 days a week. But, this time of year forces me to block out time when I’m definitely not available. It’s quite nice to be able to focus time on other things like family and friends or just on renewal.

^I have this on my website. Calendar with blackout dates. Surprisingly few clients take advantage of that feature. Some of my best clients do.

^Amen to this. It’s true. Kind of difficult to plan anything ahead in your personal life when so many clients insist on same day last minute bookings by text.

I block off only a few select holidays when I know I have family things going on. Or a day to drive my mom to/from a medical procedure, or for travel (even work travel), etc. I try to keep it as open as possible for clients to see me when they want.

I’ve had years that I’ve traveled to other cities for Christmas and would take appointments.

However, over the years I’ve become less inclined to that, and prefer to just spend it with friends or family in a city I know. Mainly because I find it’s too much out the blue and last minute bookings and it can be a bit annoying. Like last week, I had (3) clients all trying to book me in the same time of day. I was only able to meet 1, the other 2 could only meet that one day, at that one time…and all were same day requests, which I’ve discussed before can be welcoming or irritating depending on the amount or lack of notice.

And then these past couple days: I’m getting everything from clients hitting me up who haven’t replied back in over a year or 2, to people contacting but having hardly any availability to meet because of this, and that and whatever other plans that has nothing to do with me.

Needless to say, I’m about to take my availability down for the remainder of the weekend. I just can’t be bothered with people’s bad planning and expecting me to contort all different ways to accommodate, when they couldn’t show the same courtesy or sense of urgency last time and the time before that 🤦🏾‍♂️

I hope though you don't tell your family you can't come to a family xmas function to take a client instead. I have worked places where I was able to get pretty much unlimited overtime at this time of year but I realized money is not the be all end all and it was important to have some downtime and make time for family.

I think that also assumes that someone is going to be having said functions going on. I know some people don’t really have much at all really planned during the holidays. I’ve known some single folks to spend the day doing projects or catching up on sleeping versus doing functions and stuff. Or they’ll only reserve the evening with family while keeping the day time available or something.

Well… us non-Christians need something to do! 🤷🏽‍♂️. So this Xmas I invited a boi over for Friday night (22nd), bar crawled and live music with a cousin on the 23rd, danced at Jewbilee (by Hebro)(Google it!!) on the 24th, and met a guy who happened to be Jewish on the 25th, then met a regular on the 26th. That was myyyy Christmas weekend. So much fuuuun. I’m glad I stayed local.
