He was surprised. But you know what I mean. You’ve seen models or celebs in real life and at times they look exactly the same. Other times WAY BETTER in person. Other times way worse.

I guess it's another argument for doing a video call or some such in advance. Even without retouching, people who spend a lot of time getting their pictures taken soon learn about favorable lighting, angles, etc.
