There is a lot more transience, and I am less prone than I used to be about taking a chance on a newbie or someone with no reviews (though I still do that time to time). If you're looking for a black top with an impressive tool, the city is a goldmine. I'm attracted to black men (among others) and to tops, so Atlanta is a good place in that way for me. I have two regulars currently, and one of them is a black top. The other is Asian/Latino, and I have prospects for a third who is white. In that Atlanta provides some variety and that I like variety, it's also a good fit for me. My problem in regard to the black tops is a good portion of them present themselves poorly in their RM ads (at least to me). They make me feel like they are sketchy. I have no idea if they are trying to give off a certain vibe or "hood" persona for business or if they really are sketchy. But if it's working for some clients, it's having the opposite effect on me. Fortunately, that's not every ad. There are plenty of others who have inviting ads and who feel on the up and up. There are plenty of pickings in that "better ad" basket. If for some reason (just preferential or for other, more troubling reasons) you're not into black men and specifically black tops, your options go down around half. If you are a strict top, the pickings in Atlanta shrink a lot across the spectrum. Not a lot of bottom or bottom versatiles from which to choose. Overall, I'd say the scene is OK-to-good. I've never had a truly bad experience. The worst I've ever had in more than 10 years here is "disappointing." I've hired a variety of guys here -- white or black or Hispanic or Asian or other; ages from mid-20s to 50s; visitors and residents; tops to versatiles; muscular to twink-ish; edgy to BFE -- and I've never had a truly bad experience. I just feel like the churn is so high here and that a good many providers are new, perhaps desperate, won't be sticking around long and just don't know how to market themselves well here. I'm strictly speaking from the selection of providers. Many more tops than bottoms. Really, I think a strict top could find a bottom for free in this city without a lot of effort! LOL. For a start, sharing the information has already been discussed so even with the name blurred out it would clearly be about him. Secondly, as a general point, even without any prior discussion, posting the exchange in a thread about a particular provider would be seen as being about them. My wife manages the credit cards so I need cash only. I was going to cancel but He booked and paid for a room .. wouldn’t take reimbursement… I tipped double FYI. Yes, you have to start somewhere but when the only posts come from them, and one protests bit much, well....... The guy takes the name of pornstar who had enough career to photos and an easily found real name with some semi-recent social media; so you could see he wasn't the guy. The OF sounds like the most scammy type---very brief, poorly shot videos, so whole thing sounds like a grift and hardly worth 3 threads. There was enough initial interest in this guy that there seemed to be some unicorn hunting behavior---despite plenty of warning, there's always someone who wants guys with negative leading experiences or questionable supporters hoping they'll be lucky. Usually, they're not and it's better to save your money. My 2 cents on Atlanta: I used to live there and have frequently returned for work. It may be similar in size to other cities, but it's , eh Atlanta. There usually have been a small number of credible, reasonably long-term guys, but also quite a few who come and go (w/o much credibility) and and many who don't last long or simply not very good or reliable. Atlanta is very transient, esp. among younger people. It's also frankly kind of grifter-ish with lots of would-be entrepreneurs chasing a fast buck and looking for people who are ultimately bigger suckers than they are.
