I am simply calling you out on your racism. And don't fall back on red herrings like Charleston, which has nothing to do with this case. If you wanted to comment on his behavior, only racists would cite his skin color as an example of his behavior. Who else condemns an entire group for the actions of a few? You could have simply said his behavior was "trashy". But no, you instead cited a racist trope. Again, I am asking you to cite your source of his being "born with many advantages". Your quote. Not mine. Since it was an obvious lie, I won't bother to wait for a response. BoZo White trash refers to behavior, social background, etc., and not just ethnicity. Please stop using the term "race", ethnicity is more accurate. One more time... he was born white in America a country full of opportunities, he was also handsome and in good shape, at least he didn't ruin his body with fast food like others. I'm sure your elders told you how lucky they were to be able to move here and not remain in Europe, etc. Sorry guys about this... + Gar1eth Posted May 2 Author Posted May 2 Well I just got a bit of a shock. I had forgotten that Jordan and I were Facebook friends. He was never very active on it. The last posting is from 2017 a month before the murder. It shows him and his young son. It's his birthday today. And a notice popped up on my Facebook page. I still wish I knew what was going thru his mind. But if he was really evil enough to murder the physician, then I probably really don't. And I guess maybe I'm lucky I had no money when we met.
moonlight Posted May 3 Posted May 3 @Gar1eth I mean this respectfully -- reading about this case, it's clear he targeted the doctor as being emotionally vulnerable to take advantage of. It's good that you recognized something wasn't right with your relationship with him and ended it. I think something to take away from this is recognizing the signs of sociopathy so that you can reduce your chances of being targeted in the future by similar men, and also recognizing signs you might be revealing to such men. There's a scary number of people out there who will do whatever they can to gain advantage for themselves if they can do so without consequences, even if that means murder. They have no remorse at all. They are often incredibly charming people and use that quality to cast a spell on others for their own purposes. I cut off communication completely with men once I pick up on such signs. + Gar1eth 1

TonyDown Posted May 3 Posted May 3 I agree with the above, to look for red flags, yet some people are such practiced liars, e.g. Ted Bundy. Good references count, right? Such as this board. I'm skittish, and at the first sign of disingenuous communication, I pull back. I mentioned in another thread being shocked to learn a gay friend was victim of a heinous killing. Your mind starts to question, yet no one deserves what happens to these victims. It's sad.

I think I quit contacting him mainly because he was unreliable and often wouldn't text me back. He was almost always hard to pin down once he took his escort ad back. I almost never erase my texts. I have texts on my phone going back years. Jordan had multiple numbers over the course of my 1 to 2 year acquaintanceship with him. There may be some numbers/texts I did erase. But the last message I have to him looks to be from 2015. And I don't think he responded back.
