The Importance of Balance

So keeping a healthful "balance"  in ones life between work,  exercise,  family and friends and that which is important to you can be hard enough with a traditional

job.   For those who escort,  how do you keep yours and how do you deal with some of the challenges with an environment that seems to provide anything,  but.....balance.      How about you clients.    Being a fitness advocate at all levels,   this is something I strive for in achieving excellent as much as possible.    I like to quiz  others on what works for them.

One thing I've learned,  ignore those little things that can cause irritation during the day.    There are enough big things to work about in life than worry about  things that really have no real importance in the scheme of things.

Now that I’m no longer working it’s wonderful to have that spare time to do all the stuff that I couldn’t fit into a normal work week, like sleeping in, biking, going to the gym, making healthy food etc.

Retirement is great- I recommend it highly

Perhaps some of younger members will experience that someday!   LOL    Congrats on the retirement!

Set priorities. Marshall resources.  I have an accountability coach who helped me with this a lot in the past year when my energy level was so unpredictable.  By proritizing and making the most of energy peaks, I was able meet all my deliverables and keep by business going.

You really have some great thoughts and ideas to share.   Being fit and healthy,  then facing some serious health challenges   (and the road back)  is a discussion we should have on this site regularly.    I would like to follow your progress and cheer you on!

At Kaiser, I've been given the label "high-risk."   I looked up to see what that actually means and it doesn't mean that I'm likely to fall over dead at any second - it just means that I cost them a lot.   I guess it's those three spine surgeries.
