Comfort level with your body

So I had an experience with a client that made an impression.    He asked me how I became "so confident about my body".    Of course,   I asked if he meant my fitness status or  sexually....lol.     We ended up having a conversation about confidence in how one looked.   He could tell I spend time shirtless and asked about my own growing up years and my satisfaction with my physique.

I was actually a geek growing up and it wasn't until a dedicated myself to improvement through physical fitness that I realized a level of confidence.   He was interested because in his view it affects how we see ourselves and others.      So my question to you escorts is,   how comfortable are you with your level of fitness and if you are dissatisfied,  are you willing to make changes?     Is that important to you or is it really a non issue?

This is an EXCELLENT post! Even as a skinny child, I was never not comfortable in my own skin... I attribute that to having a wonderful mother and a father that helped induce confidence in us as kids. Good programming and I'm grateful for that.

This is really interesting to me because I realized years ago that the only way I could keep improving my level of fitness was to get out of my own way.... every few years I put my training and diet into the hands of real professionals. Some friends years ago laughed and snickered 🤭 at the idea that I would do this until they saw the very results I was seeking, no one laughed anymore. As luck would have it,  I'm in that very process now, once again sort of putting myself away so I can focus on my diet and training with as few distractions as possible.
I remind people all the time that it's important to get out of your own way even if it means questioning long held beliefs. Golf pros, tennis 🎾 pros , professional pitchers, singers, athletes from different sports keep coaches, bodybuilders do the same. I'm still and always will be a student of the game.. perfect is the enemy of the good and that's why I simply strive for "excellence"
Thank you for posing this excellent question 🙌🏽

This hits the nail on the head.  I am very happy for you - it makes all the difference when one feels supported growing up.  I am not in that boat unfortunately, and have spent many years being overly critical about myself - to the point where I am my own harshest judge.  Brutally harsh.  That can lead a person to just give up on believing that anyone would give them a second glance, and therefore miss those moments when someone may have been interested.  I think building confidence in others is one of the greatest gifts we can give someone.  :)

Huge hug 🫂 to you.  Thank you for sharing and commenting. We can't change the past but I also know that almost everything in life is dependent on "effort and attitude"

We just have to play the hand we're dealt as best as we can, and keep motoring forward.  Pretty much anything we experience, whether good or bad, can either build us up or pull us down.  Even if we live 100 years life is like a blink of the eye.

Just a flash in the pan in geological time. Everything is either a lesson, an opportunity, and or both.

Through my somewhat chubby kid --> chubby undergrad -> toned and out grad -> thin late twenties -> in good shape thirties -> beefy forties , i have never felt comfortable in my own body. After weed became legal and easily available in California, I had my first edible and an out-of-body experience where "I" clearly felt separate from the "body" and felt like "I" should get rid of that body and enter the body of a hot smooth-skinned muscled boy from Instagram and fly away to exotic destinations.

I think when i hire a hot provider, i am trying to enter him in more ways than two😀 .

Interesting isn't it,  a very personal and deep discussion about something very important to many of us  (and finding it on a forum like this).

Thank to all of you for sharing.   Really awesome.

I'm a competitive bodybuilder - I don't think I would have achieved what I have without trainers, coaches, etc.  Whenever somebody asks me about competing - My first question is "Do you have a coach?"  The answer is always "no," so my single piece of advice is "Get one."

My avatar is an actual photo of me.  I have had a series of health challenges that have taken their toll on my physique. I'm not ashamed of my present condition, but I certainly am eager to get on the road back to my former self.

I hope you continue to improve on your way to fantastic heath and you are able to enjoy time in the gym!
