CBS 'Big Brother Season 25' thread

Agreed - Cory is gay. Worst kept secret on television right now. All the more, CBS should remove the predator in the house. Again, if the roles were reversed and America was a 21 year old lesbian, and Cory was the 27 year old male pressuring her to have sex with him every moment of the day, I believe the network would have him removed from the house. Double standards.

Cameron has turned the house upside down (as Julie likes to say) and with Cory's help (he flipped the votes) sent Izzy packing. He also realized too late that Jared - whom he's trusted - has played him.

Useless Jared has won HoH this week, so it's evident Cameron is his target.

Uggggggggh.  Jared put up Cory and America, with Cameron as his back-door target (no shit!). Jag wins POV and takes down his ally, Cory - and Cameron goes up.  Cameron has been doing a damn good job convincing the houseguests to keep him in the house, so he can finish getting out Cirie and Jared. It's come to everyone's attention that Jared is a liar, and Cirie covers for him (though they haven't made the mother / son connection). Oh, I hope Cameron stays...he and Cory are playing the best game.

The problem every season is that the strong players go after the strong players every year and the weak players who doing nothing ending up getting through closer to the end. Mecole who they hardly show on TV. Why is she still on. She should be booted. They need to get rid of Jared who is coming off as a complete idiot and if it wasn't for him mom he would be gone. Cirie needs to go. She is running this house and letting everyone do her dirty work. Very typical reminds me of Daniele.

Mecole is the young attractive black woman who has as little air time as possible because she does very little.  She is floating along and could go to the end because the thought would be that she did nothing to win the game, at least to this point.

Bowie Jane is the other woman, white Australian who has also done little to nothing.   These two really do have control of the game because no one wants them to go.  But also no one wants them to stay except as a vote.  Such is the life of a floater.  Tough to win from that position.

Either player would be ideal in the #2 seat for the finals. It would be so easy for the house guest in the the #1 seat prove he / she should be the winner. In BB history, we all know the 'floater' never wins the grand prize.

It's funny - usually the guys who come in the house with a hot body or even an "okay body" are really smokin' by the middle of the season and onward. They watch what they eat, and work out with weights - getting better bodies every day.

So why hasn't this happened to Jared ? He had a nice body coming in, but now he looks like he's gaining weight (especially in the face) and is getting manboobs - no more pecs. He went from sexy to OK.

Even gay twink Cory has gotten a little sexier.  Matt still has the body (and you know because he's working out) but a little pudgy in his face - especially in his chin.

I think CBS has learned a valuable lesson:  This is definitely a summer show, not a 'fall show'. They are losing viewers each week since their Sunday show has interrupted start times due to the football games running on Sundays; they are moving the 'start times' for Wednesday and Thursday back and forth from 8 pm to 9 pm to 8 pm to 9 pm...to try and make room for 'other reality shows' joining the schedule ; they moved the show from Wednesday to Tuesday to make way for new reality shows.

In other words - who can find it ? And this is to run through November ?

Meanwhile, the show limps on...Cameron and Jared were evicted two weeks ago on the same episode, brought back in the game, and Cameron is back for good (that's good news - he's a great player).

And please fire the camera operators !  The other day on the live feeds gorgeous Matt went to take a shower - the cameras moved away from him getting undressed and focused on two other contestants talking outside for the duration of his shower. WTF ?

Finally - the corpse known as "Mercole" got booted out and the other corpse Bowie Jane (who laughs at fart jokes, even though she's pushing 50) is HoH. It took to the end of the game for anyone to notice them.

Has anyone noticed Matt is getting pudgy in his face and developed acne that not even TV makeup can cover up ?  And he no longer walks around shirtless ?

And can Cory get rid of his teenage mustache that looks like a caterpillar ?

Barnacle Bowie Jane has decided to put up Felicia and Cirie for nominations. What a wasted HoH. Cirie has checked out of the game since her son was voted out - so now she sits around like a lummox. Why get rid of her this week ? She should have put up Cory and his beard, America.

Otev (veto spelled backwards) is a competition they do every year. Otev asks a question, players slide down a slippery ramp to seek through swampy messes to find a tile with the answer. Then using a rope, they climb back up the ramp. Last player up (or player with wrong answer) loses the round. If you search "Big Brother Otev" on youtube you'll find videos of past comps.

Ahhhh -yes! I know this competition. Never knew it was called OTEV.

In any event, Jag won the HOH and hasn't decided what to do with it. He wants to take down either nominee and they can 'backdoor' Cameron, but as it stands now - Bowie the Barnacle is considering backdooring Cory instead.

During the veto competition, it was very noticeable that Olympian swimmer Matt Klotz has gained weight the past few months - very noticeable in his face which once had a 'chiseled look' starting the show on August 2, and now chubby and round last night (filmed on Monday). I brought this up here a few weeks ago.

Many other chat forums are talking about the noticeable difference - and the fact its been a few weeks since we have seen him 'shirtless' on camera. In last night's contest, in his wet clothing, you can definitely see he's put on weight in his torso and rear end. After reading this on the other forums, I replayed some his scenes where you can see his full body and he has indeed put on weight.

Not that he looks bad at all - he looks fine. But when we were introduced to him, he had a sexy swimmer's build which he liked to show off for the cameras (probably at the directive of the producers). I'm sure once he returns home to Louisiana and hits the swimming pool, he will be back in shape in no time.

Someone on a BB forum made a good point:  Matt is still eating like an athlete while in the House, probably through habit. However, he is not working out like an athlete since there isn't the workout equipment (or swimming pool) for him. So he's bulking up quickly, right before our eyes. Hopefully, once he gets back to Louisiana, he will drop the weight easily once he starts his workout routines once again. I hope so...

The plan worked - Cory was backdoored and he's out.

Jag won HOH once again this week, put up America and Blue, and also won POV.

I hope after he wins the game this season, and brings Matt along for the ride to second place, that Matt thanks him by bottoming for him. And I want to see this on camera.

And this season drags on to the finish line...

"Blue" was evicted first in last week's double eviction, and "America" was evicted second. In other words, no surprises there.

Matt (who's getting chunkier on each episode) won HOH and put up Cirie and Felicia. Jag wins PoV.

Meanwhile, Bowie Jane (who, at 45, has pigtails shooting out of her head and laughs at fart jokes) is still hanging on. She has made an alliance with Jag / Matt as well as Cirie / Felicia to take her to the final three. This barnacle had no game play, and no winning skills to speak of - yet she's still there. Either she's the worst player in history or the best.

Jag wins POV and decided to keep the noms the same - which means one of the two "Mamas" are going to jury and Bowie the Barnacle hangs on further.

In a more interesting turn of events - other sites are questioning why CBS is requiring Jag and Matt to wear 'compressions shorts' to hide their massive bulges (which were so evident in the beginning of the season). Not fair, CBS !

The season finale - day 100 - is this Thursday. To no one's surprise, Barnacle Jane, Matt and Jag have secured themselves into the Final 3, while "Mama Fee" - who promised she was going to show us her "A" game all season long and never delivered - was set free last night. Maybe her "A" game was to talk nonsense for 95 days ?

Should Matt win (and he should), he will become the first deaf contestant to win the competition in 25 years. He played a great social game, as well as a competitive game (winning when he really needed to, but not becoming a 'beast') and was eye candy for the whole season. He played off the "all-American boy next door" charm, and all the houseguests fell for it.

If Jag gets the grand prize, he will be the first Sikh to win the the competition in 25 years, which (according to him) was his goal. He burned a lot of bridges in his game play, and really turned the game around in the second half of its 100 day run.

Bowie 'Barnacle' Jane did mostly nothing. When she won comps (only a couple) she didn't have an original thought in her head as to what her next move should be - she relied on Matt and Jag to point her into a direction. She came across to many as rather immature for a 45 year old (pigtails and laughing at fart jokes), lacking any charisma or likeability.  Should she win, she will be a major disappointment to fans.

BUT FIRST...Julie Chen has announced a 'special announcement' will be forthcoming at the conclusion of this season.  Let's see - since CBS has no scripted programs returning as far as the eye can see due to the SAG-AFTRA strike, can it be there will be a winter season of BB  starting in January ?  You betcha.

Season 25 came to an end last night. As expected, Jag wins the game and $750K, becoming the first Sheik to win the game. Handsome Matt came in second, winning $75K and Cameron was chosen America's favorite player pocketing $50K.

Keep in mind, Jag was one of the few in the cast who actually applied to be a contestant. Matt, Cameron, Reilly (who Matt thinks he has a relationship with after spending 10 days with her) and many others were 'recruited' by the producers based on their looks. They have never seen the show before, and weren't familiar with strategic game plays (this is why it is believed Jag won over Matt).
