Nov. Palm Springs CA pride - advice pls

Hi,

I have a 40 yo very attractive friend, who is into oldies. 

Would this event, specifically in that location, b a good hunting ground for him? 

Is 40 too old for local oldies into youngsters?

Any tips on how to proceed wld b appreciated.

IMHO, I’m not sure that your friend needs to wait for Pride as the desert is filled with older gays all year.  In some respects, Pride might be a poor time to visit as there are lots of visitors (of all ages), and also a lot of visiting professionals (and therefore lots of competition).  
As for his age, 60-year-olds are considered chicken in PS, so he should be fine.

Your friend does not need to wait until November pride. As stated above, there are many older gays in Palm Spring's year round.  Go into any of the bars on Arenas, especially Street Bar and Dick’s and you will see  many older gay men. Or go to Prime Timers of The Desert social every Monday at 5 at Escena. It is full of older gay men and their admirers. World Gym too!

I prefer chicken-a-la-king.

For those not familiar with this dish, it's yesterday's leftovers served up fresh in a cream sauce.
