I had a session last night with a guy whose photos were at least 15years old.  I was annoyed but didn’t know what to do.

Do you ever call a massage therapist on this?   Do you ever turn at round and walk out.  I didn’t but wish I had.

Yes I have called out a masseur in the past for using photos that were quite outdated and walked out of his studio. I feel that a masseur displaying profile photos that are both accurate and recent is all part of setting proper client expectations.

There's definitely wiggle room -- more for a masseur than an escort.  People can put on weight or lose muscle definition in a fairly short period of time, so I can understand some variance from what is shown in photos.  When the photos are significantly different, though, I definitely don't go through with the appointment.  It's one of the reasons I prefer incalls -- if the guy answering the door isn't the person in the photos or if the photos look like they were taken 20 years ago, I simply state I was expecting someone else and leave.

Pictures are like a calling card, however in saying that.  Skills are  are what is most important.  But... We all know people do look at the "looks"... And those should be properly depicted... You have to wonder why not just get new pictures, right?

If looks weren't a part of the hiring process when choosing a masseur from a site like Rentmasseur, then clients wouldn't pay as much for the massage and would probably just look for someone on another site or at a business where massage training is emphasized.  A masseur looking significantly different than his photos surely knows he is deliberately falsely marketing himself.

But..how was the massage ?

Exactly.. How was the Massage.

I understand totally, you expect the person in the photos, but.... If they do not look like that photo or image in your head, then leave.  It's as simple as that.

If somebody doesn't look like their photos and I am here for a massage I would probably follow through with the massage.

Just don't bother with a happy ending and don't expect a tip unless you're giving me the world's greatest massage.

I have found the worst masseurs are the best looking guys and the best masseurs aren't not the pretty boys. So I wouldn't pass up the opportunity to see if Mr. Fake Pictures might be skilled instead of visually gifted.

And that of course is your pergogative...

I think skills should be the most important, but understand attractiveness is included, icing on the cake.  😊

I like icing and I like cake.

But if I'm hiring a masseur the cake is more important to me.

If I was SO interested in the icing I would be shopping for icing not cake.

One of the best masseurs I ever had was a skinny Chinese kid ( gay ) who I had zero attraction to. But he was an incredibly skilled masseur and did things to deliver an explosive happy ending without having the poster-boy looks some people demand.

I'll take massage skills over looks any day; but I have found that someone using outdated pix generally has little to no massage training skills.

They're using the old more attractive pix as the draw -- not their skills.
