Having said all that, Rafa definitely has more skills than most. So I think you’d enjoy his massage if you do like a bit more of a therapeutic session. And btw I tried Joe, an Asian guy, at the last minute and I had a really pleasant time! Quite enjoyed it. He has a bit of a gruff “bedside manner,” but he’s also sweet. I think a big factor is he barely speaks English so it’s tough for him to express himself.

I saw that there is a Chris on the schedule now. Does anyone know if this is the same Chris that’s been there in the past?

Yes, on their website. Just go thru the process like you want to book on line and there's a dropdown list with names of who is available that day. Or you can filter by names and the calendar will have dots for the days they are working.

Only Joe is there in the evening. If you want to know more about a guy or what he looks like, you can message the spa using the chat on the website. Or you could call, but I'd feel uncomfortable asking that sort of thing on the phone

Tried Joe the other night. I was sore and needed a good massage, boy did he deliver! Massage was A+ (I have never given that rating to anyone before), extras were ok, but he was also just not my type and not why I was there. Nice Asian man, short, middle aged and has a bit of a gut.

Went recently to Shangrila 2x to try it out after reading some of the reviews and my God - both massages by different models were horrible - bump.... there are so many better alternatives. On the 2nd massage I added a scrub and rinse after the massage and felt like a wet dog getting a bath in one of the pet troughs at PetSmart, seriously, and it was like $220.00 - I definitely felt hosed.
