I need some advise for the best vacation locations for older single gay men in US and Canada in 2023, please advise.

What sort of activities do you like to do?  Museums? Concerts? Parks and outdoor activities?  Multicultural experiences?  Some locations may be good for one or two interests, and others may cover most interests.

not sure looking for suggestions and new experances

One of the great drives in Canada is the Icefield Parkway through the Rocky Mountains.  You can start in Banff, Alberta, which is a picturesque but touristy town, and drive north to Jasper, Alberta.  The scenery along the way is incredible, with additional places to stop like Lake Louise.  Probably easiest to fly into Calgary and either spend a couple of days there or drive to either Canmore or Banff and stay overnight.  Then the next morning start driving up the Icefield Parkway - it can be done in a few hours but you may wish to make many stops along the way for photos, hikes, etc.  Then spend the evening in Jasper, and either explore the town the next day or drive back down to Banff the way you came.  If you do go through Calgary, and if there is time, you can drive a couple of hours east to Drumheller, Alberta.  There is an excellent museum showcasing dinosaur fossils, as this is the heart of the Alberta 'badlands' where many fossils have been unearthed over the decades.  I think it is called the Royal Tyrell Museum.

Which month? For how long do you plan to be at that place? What are you seeking? Meeting other men? Just gay-friendly? Drag shows? Do you have a budget in mind?

Western Alberta is very beautiful. That being said, the OP specifically asked for a "gay vacation location." While this OP was very vague, I don't think of Alberta as a "gay vacation location."

But when you're driving and the sun hits the clouds in a certain way , sometimes a rainbow appears.  Doesn't that count?

I have done that trip going from north to south, and I agree that it is beautiful, but it really isn't exactly a "gay" vacation, unless you have an escort waiting for you in Calgary.

When I've men Albertan men in gay bars, I've often heard how they feel they're pulling the weight of Canada on their shoulders. Some talk of seceding. Certainly, if the US were to invade Canada, this would be the best province to keep. 🤑
