Can a client see if a provider checked out thier profile?

Yes, on Rentmen at least, I can see whoever looked at my profile (both providers and other clients).

Clients can also turn that off in their privacy settings.

Yup.

Occasionally I turn it on if I want a client to notice I was looking at him. However, that's also led to me getting unsolicited and rude propositions.

I always have it off. Not because I care who knows I’ve looked per se, but more because I think it’s creeperish.

Yes, unless the provider in his "Privacy settings" clicks "do not track me" in the "allow members to see if I check them out" area as explained by others already.

Yes, but it can also be turned off.

You can also see if someone read your message with the double checks
