Cairo, Egypt…hints/suggestions?

went to Egypt in 2008 with a gay tour group....in Luxor we had some free time and walked to the local market with other group members. Already had some stares given 5-6 men together. then when one couple in the group was stupid enough to start some PDA, things went downhill real fast. Groups of locals starting following us and I couldn't run back to the boat fast enough. Needless to say was not happy camper to the couple
