I was buzzed up to a third floor. Got my steps in as there was no elevator. At the top of the stairs there were 2 doors, maybe a 3rd. A guy opens the door and asks if i was "Luciano" - said no and continuted to the other door. Then my door opened and a gentleman exited and the door shut and locked. A few seconds later the door unlocked and left open - "ajar" so to speak. I walked in and my masseur "escorted" me to one of two rooms with a door. There appeared to be a third room with a curtain. Masseur (muscular Asian) was attractive and his skills were amazing. I don't think I'd repeat because i was expecting something different then a private massage spa. (Kind of like WeWork Office Space?) One floor is the home of MMX NYC which is a group who sponsor massage and yoga events as well as some more private erotic group events for members only. During the day they allow private masseurs to rent out the suites if there are no other events scheduled . The other floor is more of a WeWork situation with a variety of providers renting out space to service their clients. I've used the space on numerous times to hire masseurs who did outcalls only, since I prefer to be worked on on a table or perhaps my home situation didn't allow for a massage visit, so I'd rent the room myself and tell the masseur to meet me there. I've actually gotten some masseurs to use it for their incall location as a result. And many new masseurs use it to start off their massage biz since it affords them a full setup without their own investment, esp if they just arrived in NY, etc. If it hasn't changed hands, it's run by a massage therapist whose screenname is tanrtricmaster or something like that. You can actually see the schedule of rentals, i.e. when there are other people using the other rooms (at least at the point you schedule one) so you can determine whether or not you want that time frame for yourself if you use it. He had just recently renovated an adjacent studio connected to his space. The whole place was destroyed. I've just recently attended some events there and it was always accommodating with a bathroom in each studio, water, teas, mints and a comfortable setting. pubic_assistance Posted February 16, 2023 Share Posted February 16, 2023 MMX sent me an email claiming the fire was caused by the dryer down at 3F studios. Not an electrical fire as previously assumed. I've seen this before. One of my client's entire house burnt down because they didn't clean their lint trap. A maintenance issue that no one ever takes seriously. I hope Aaron is able to rebuild.
