Do the rooms feel cold in the winter time to you? I haven’t been since the summer and forget if it’s warm enough or not there during this time. I tend to run cold and don’t want to be distracted by shivering

If you do scrubs, yes, the room is cold. But the massage room is fine for me.

What does a body scrub entail? I’ve only ever gotten a massage at HK so curious about the whole the whole service and I couldn’t find a good description

feel free to dm your own peeps experiences too

Really amazing 90 mins bc scrub/massage combo with Alberto at HK yesterday 🥵 Actually really good strong massage skills and excellent at allowing the sensual aspects to really build so that there’s anticipation which is hot but it also allows the massage to fully happen which I appreciate. Scrub was really hot too. He’s moving away next week, so I’m very glad I got to see him before he did

I have a body scrub regularly in the winter and I don't find the room generally cold at all. In general, they turn the hot water on and they heat up the table with the warm and hot water and with the hot water running the room heats up quite fine. I don't find it an issue personally.

Out of curiosity, what are the massage therapists typically wearing? I prefer shorts or less.

Hi newbie. The therapists wear shorts and t-shirts generally. Maybe pants in the winter months? Anything less would be unprofessional, illegal and taboo...

Does the 1hr massage start from the time they let you inside the room?  Sometime, the masseur doesn’t come in after 10 minute when you enter the room.  I remember I was inside the room at 1:00, the masseur did not come and start until 1:10 and then the massage ended at 1:50ish so maybe short by ~15 minutes. Is this normal?  I noticed this because I always check the digital clock. If it’s <10 min short, I don’t mind but it’s been growing recently.  I’m afraid if I take a longer session, they might short me for >15 minutes.

Hey Frince,

I’m really sorry about your recent experience. A 60-minute session should be a full hour of massage time starting when the therapist begins, not from the moment you enter the room.

To clarify and address this properly, has this been happening with most of the masseurs, or with a specific masseur? If you can share the date/time of your visit (and the therapist name if you know it), we’ll look into it and make sure your sessions are timed correctly going forward.

Thank you!
