HooBoy
Sorry about the horrid look of this message center, but last night I decided to "redecorate" and I know nothing about computers or HTML or PERL (except Mikimoto and Barbara Bush) but bottom line, I screwed everything up. My idol Mies Van Der Rohe said, "less is more." But I think my turning everything white was a bit much, since no one could read anything. To make a long story longer, I phoned Daddy-In-Training and either broke him away from the toilet or the buffet and he spent an hour or more fixing it up. When I asked him to get rid of the blue, he told me it would cost him Matt from Vancouver, who figures out when I'm in BC and goes to Seattle. Anyway, KUDOS to Daddy-In-Training. Lucky Matt. Lucky me. Lucky you and I hope to get rid of these Laverne and Shirley colors soon. Meantime, you can post and reply, so who gives a flying bi-plane. Do you think any of the Back Street Boys are bi-planes? :-) HooBoy Email: [email protected]
Guest Tampa Yankee
Hoo, Same comment I made to Bilbo... Hope YOU don't own a shotgun either! :-) BTW, very nice banner up there... is that an image of Rick Munroe -- if so nice choice. If not, still a nice choice that brings Rick to mind. liubit
I was very annoyed this morning when I saw the sepia/purplish tones my favorite website (at least the one I visit the most) had acquired overnight....I thought my overworked computer had finally given up on me by contracting jaundice or rosacea. I was SOOOOO relieved to read your post, HooBoy, in my most recent visit. I hope everything goes back to normal, these colors are making me dizzy. Good luck in your cyber endeavors. Wish I could help, but I'm afraid that my computer illiteracy goes beyond belief!
Matt_Vancouver
Wow I can be given as a gift: ) make your Christmas list up now. Matt under your tree wrapped in a bow http://go.to/mattsplace [email protected]
HooBoy
You know, come to think of it, my uniform of the day is usually brown chinos and a blue Armani blazer, so maybe this looks okay. Gotta get NiceGuy in on the decoration. And Matt, I Daddy-In-Training would probably love to have you under his tree with only a ribbon. For myself, Christmas is just another depressing day without Karen Carpenter. I just can't get over the "put another log on the fire" line. Guest Daddy-In-Training
Yes, Matt is allowed under my tree with or without the ribbon....but would prefer him to be under my bed. And I actually prefered the "Other" Carpenter. -- Daddy
Will
On a very, very slightly more serious note, do you think we could be restored to blue type? I don't know whether it's my eyes, but I find the brown type very, very difficult to read. Black or blue would be great. Thanks.

Guest Wildcats
I like it. Unique, novel, and better than purple.

Bilbo
Daddy - You want him Under your Bed? Is it a very high bed so that you could rock back and forth comfortably? Hey, guy, we gotta another one for our book in progress, "What Is Kinky?"!

jack
Don't frett. There are often things we do at night that we regret the next morning, Hooboy. Certainly, your efforts are commendable for their intent and your enthusiasm to keep the place nice.
