NYC ESCORTS NOT AT THE GAIETY, WHY?

Anyone who regularly attends the male strip club "Gaiety" in NYC knows that most of the dancers are not local. They are either our "neighbors to the North" or our "friends to the South". In fact, this weeks line-up was mostly Canadian. So my question to you hot looking, in shape NYC escorts is: Why don't you dance at the Gaiety?...Since most of the patrons who attend are local, won't you see this as a great opportunity for exposure, not to mention the BIG $$$$'s.

I would think that why alot of escorts do not dance at the Gaiety is because they do not want to attract attention to themselves. I do not know what the punishment would be if an escort is busted (perhaps somebody could enlighten us on that) but I am sure that even if someone only escorts part time to supplement their income they would not want to be arrested and prefer ot be discreet.

Most escorts that have pictures of themselves do not have the faces shown.I think that half of the escorts who do show their faces were are are currently in pornography so what would the sense be in hiding your face. I am sure that a few of the dancers that do perform there are also escorts but I am under the impression that the ones that will do privates do not advertise themselves as being an escort.

Maybe they can't dance. Has anyone ever SEEN Rick Munroe dance? hmmm?

Maybe they get stage fright?

Some of the NY guys do work at Gaiety, some are listed on rentboy.

I would guessquality control issues come into play. I would imagine a number of NYC boys might be hard to work with....

Well I guess that disqualifies me too..I'm Hairy.

I also happen to be a GREAT Dancer... did it for a living years ago.

I don't do it at the Gaitey for several reasons...some mentioned.

I don't want to get busted.

Very few people know I do this on the side.

Most of the dancers are twinkies or under 35...I would say ALL...but thats generalizing.

Damn...do they make that much money anyways...for 4 hours...isnt it like 300 dollars...Id rather work one on one for a lot less time.

I like sex a helluva lot more than dancing these days. Cooper if you had a choice to see Rick Munroe walk like an egyptian (which I happen to be able to do better since my orgins are mideastern)or have sex like an egyptian....what would you prefer? Rick...how much do you charge to wear those 7 thin veils that my cousin Fatima wore?

okay first let say my question is not meant to offend anybody......but 35 year old strippers!!when i think of a stripper i think of young guy's,also i notice a lot of escorts are in there 30's and above,it seems like if you are going to search out someone and pay him (the operative word here is PAY) that you want somebody quite a bit younger.now don't get me wrong i'm not saying there is anything wrong with guy's in there 30's.40s,50s,etc:ihad sex with a 26 year old guy once and it was really cool....but i just don't understand guy's paying older guy's to do it with them.esp. guy's like the 16 and 18 y/o mentioned in this thread.okay y'all can read something else in this and crucify me; but this is a legitimate question. i know these things are all a matter of taste, and i know some guy's get into older guy's.....but pay them???????

Some day (and sooner than you think), you'll have an entirely different point of view on age vs. attractiveness/attraction. Trust me. Hopefully, you'll come to your senses before you *need* to start paying for it, but the way you're going now that doesn't seem very likely. In fact, I'll be surprised if some 30-year-old body builder doesn't break your neck one of these days.

Lighten up, Taylor. The wold doesn't revolve around your preferences.

You're basically saying what I have said before. Here we have a 19 year old upstart, with very little, if any, worldly experience, mouthing off on subjects he knows nothing about and lacking in what is considered to be normal good manners.

I was especially amused by his confession that he had actually had sex with a 26 year old - once. No doubt his idea of geriatric.

I too would be surprised if a 30-year-old body builder doesn't break his neck!

And before he mouths off again - No, my meals on wheels wasn't late today, nor did they forget to put the salt in it. So much for tayloryucky!

The money at Gaiety is in the privates not whatever they get paid to be there and the tips. Thats why they sked them back to back btw shows and will rush you out. They charge anywhere btw $200-$300 and during one of the longer weekend shows can prolly manage a couple privates btw shows...how many times is dancer not back for that final curtain call during marathon shows?

A few of them get quite generous gifts from admirers as well.

Ok Mr. Bottomguy Jim,

I think I'm falling into your trap, but I'll ask anyway. Is "sex like an Egyptian" something I should know about? Is it a position or the search for the Rosetta Stone? Does it have anything to do with camels, pyramids, deserts or hairy guys?

I hope it's something simple like the search for hidden treasures, but go ahead, tell me!;-)

RE: GEEZERS AT THE GAIETY, WHY?

taylor's point of view is perfectly appropriate for his age. I used to think guys over 40 should just give up, but then I was young.

So, taylor, you admit that it's different strokes for different folks. It should not be hard to follow thorugh and realize that people pay for what they want and can't otherwise get. Some guys want a 20 year old, some guys want someone older. Money is a common way of getting what you want. You just can't buy love, though.

Anyway, I love your posts. Don't be shy about saying what you want to say.

First of all..It's bottom STUD (please...just humor me.) Remember your post on handles.

Cooper...you fucking coop me!!! (please don't ask what that means...it just sounds nasty )

The following is all made up...just for you!

Sex like an Egyptian means...In the alleys, back rooms, baths and in the open dessert...because thats the only way gays in Egypt can have sex with another man.

And it can mean all of the above...I would like to strip search you to find your hidden treasures.

Maybe I'll go dance at the Gaiety in my belly dancing outfit. Keep the veil around my face...No one will know I'm older...no grays in my crotch hairs yet. Hey can I wear a leather mask...set it up Cooper..instead of a lapdance for you...ILL DO A BELLY DANCE

Hey Bottom"STUD" Jim,;-)

I always felt it was important to learn something new everday. So today I'll got to Jones Beach (field 6) and have "sex like an Eqyptian". I think it's called "learning by doing!" Christ! have I come a long way...As for your other idea of doing a "BELLY DANCE" at the Gaiety, I thinks it's great. I'll talk to "Mistress Denise" about it and see what she thinks. Perhaps we can make a night of it, "Belly Dancing at the Gaiety". That should help keep some of the old-time patrons awake and I'm certain NYO would appreciate the change...And finally, you suggested looking for my hidden treasures. :p Tell me, just how far down into that chamber are you willing to go? You did say "bottomstud"...

When I read your latest post, I knew you were going to get jumped on. Like Lucky, I'm not surprised that at the age of 19, you see the world as you do. It's certainly not a crime to see it that way, but it is indicative of your youth and the perspective most 19 year olds would have. While I like the posters who jumped on you about this, and I think their view of age is certainly more reasonable and seasoned than your own, I would also gently remind them to pause and think for a few moments about their own view of the world at your age. This is probably the reason I tend to be more forgiving of inexperience and some aspects of performance on the part of the younger escorts, than I would if I were hiring someone older.

We all know that choosing to participate here inevitably means that, sooner or later, someone will have the need to come down on you with claws extended. And sometimes the most innocuous posting will incur the wrath of some folks here, eliciting short, one -line nuggets of sarcasm, or full-blown venomous diatribes.

My advice to you: develop a thick skin if you choose to romp and play here. And don't take too seriously the attacks. And remember that life is bigger than any message board.

Derek and I must have been abnormal. When we were in our teens/early 20's, we were only into older guys (like those we'd see in Colt magazine or Joe Gage videos) and not at all into boys our own age (except for each other, of course...and maybe one or two macho frat guys). Now that we're a bit :p older, we are definitely appreciating the yummy little sweet things (who, in turn, want us guys in our 30's) as much as we (still) do older guys. I guess that's why we're whores for pay. Clients come in all ages and everyone's got a dick and it's my job to blow them (but I digress). :9

Has anyone else wondered why Tayloryucky - a young stud in his prime at 19 - oops, I mean 20 - what a differance a day makes... 24 little hours - bothers to belong to a message board that is primarily intended for guys who are into paying other guys to have sex with them?

Surely 'yucky can get "it" with a snap of his little fingers so why would the pup find hookers interesting? Perhaps he is a wannabe. Or Ethan in disguise! And I definately think he his age and his IQ confused.

However I suppose we are destined to hear his idiotic reference to "meals on wheels" ad nausium. The fact that he finds it so hilarious shows the level of his arrested development. And if there are any members here who actually do rely on meals on wheels, I hope you can excuse his sophomoric attempt at humour as he is by his own admission, aggresivly resisting sophistication.

As a patron of the Gaiety for the past 3 years, I'm not aware of any dancer ever being "busted" for working there...I am aware of some Canadian dancers who had trouble at the boarder, but it had nothing to do with their work. Also, I heard of one who had trouble with immigration officials while in NYC, but again, nothing to do with dancing. And finally, one got busted for buying drugs while in NYC...But if anyone does have any factual information that a dancer, while working at the Gaiety, did get busted, please post it...I hope the above remarks didn't scare off anyone who might be contemplating dancing at the Gaiety...(Disclaimer) Yes, there are risks while escorting and we should all be aware of them.

It may seem odd to post to the actual question, but here goes....

I have been attending the Gaiety for more years than I care to count, almost more than our spirited friend Taylorky has been a practicing human being. And I would hazard this explanation of why NYC escorts don't dance frequently at the Gaiety.

It's simple. Dancing at the Gaiety and being an escort are not the same thing. Not by a long shot. How many times have you read here of an absolutely stunning, charming, great-dancing guy who is a lump or worse in his "private show". As often as not. In fact, so often that many experienced Gaiety patrons simply will not consider a private show without a series of positive reviews. $200 minimum for a 20 minute in-and-out in the dancer's cheap hotel room trashed by a pair of gen-xers who hardly know how to pick up their stale Cheetos before company arrives, and interrupt each other "by accident", putting an end to the much desired encounter? I think not. Their skill is physical beauty, athletic grace and the creation of an illusion of shared sensuality in the theatre. This is a role, theatre, which straight and even gay-hostile boys can do, witness the infamous Kirk/Voltaire and others over the years.

By contrast, a great escort is a person who creates real shared sensuality. It is theatre of a type, role playing certainly, but it is not illusion. A great escort shares your life for the time you are with him. A few dancers can accomplish this, and a few escorts can be great dancer/illusionists, but most can do one or the other, and not both.

This being the case, it is no mystery why so many of the Gaiety dancers are from out of town. Theirs is a very specialized occupation, and in order to perform regularly they have to move from venue to venue, creating a dependable class of dancers regularly and happily employed doing what they do best. Escorts do best staying in one place and developing a satisfied clientele which grows by solid reputation. The two simply don't go well together.

Hmmh. I have never been to the Gaiety, and don't spend much time in those kinds of clubs so this is admittedly not a very informed position. Nonetheless, it has been my experience in Amsterdam that some of the best escorts were also the best dancers (and yes also young too). So I guess my question would be, why is it different here? It seems to me it is more than just a sense of rythym. I think clubs like that here cater to straight scam artists who succeed because of the legal status of escorting. Remove the legal hurdles (but, of course add regular health testing), then real escorts might also choose to be dancers too.
