Let me try and explain my feelings in this regard.

 

I would have thought that it was a no-brainer as to why I wonder why he posts here. For starters, he is very young and has stated that he doesn't understand the attraction of older men - while admiting that he once has a 26 year old - his idea of old??? - and he doesn't see why anyone would pay for sex. Well excuse me but the last time I checked the purpose of this club it was for the exchange of info that pertains to the whole escort scene. As he has expressed disdain for the entire subject, what is the attraction for him?

 

If you enjoy his perspective - good for you - continue to read his posts and revere them. My opinion is that he shows no perspective at all. He is nothing but a lippy teenager sounding off on subjects he know little if anything about, as is typical of many children of his his age today.

 

He doesn't start any threads that inspire debate - heated or otherwise. He has little to add to anyone else's posts but smart alec remarks. If you think he makes a contibution, that's your perogative.

I just happen to think otherwise.

 

My difficulty with him started back when I was having a heated exchange with Regulation - who was posting under a variety of names.

Tayloryucky - who at that time had been a member for a mere nano-second, chimed in, taking sides with Reg, without knowing any of Reg's background here over the past year or so.

 

He immediately decided I had no life - was subsisting due to the graces of meals on wheels and he was generally obnoxious without any reason other than his abject stupidity and lack of manners.

 

There is no way I will take crap from a prick like him. I am only 13 years older than Tayloryucky. In my mind, I'm a still few weeks away from "over the hill". From what I have gathered, the average age limit on this board is probably over 40. If all these over 40 guys don't mind being put down by him - so be it. If they haven't got the balls to stand up and tell it like it is, then I truly feel sorry for them.

 

Now - you don't have to agree with anything I have said above. But you did ask the question - and I gave you my answer.

I think the answer is pretty simple. It's the same reason lots of escorts don't do porn or show theiur face in pictures. They don't want someone they know(but who doesn't know what they do for a living) coming to a show and "outing" them to their friends and family. It's not like a Chippendale's style place. All those dancers are available for rent and everybody there knows it. If you're escorting you deal with one person at a time and you control access via email, etc. Go up onstage to dance and anybody who has 15 bucks can walk though that door.

I had to read all the previous posts first in order to find out what provoked your response. After all, this was to be a thread on "Dancers at the Gaiety" not violence with a muscle man! Posts like these make me wonder sometimes who's the real child around here...I have no problem reading your posts or anyone elses, I might not agree with what you say, but I'll defend your right to say it...In fact, I'd rather be "entertained" by your ("ROFL") posts, than being bored by some others who seem to be more concerned with quantity of posts rather than the quality of the message...Someday we'll have to talk about life growing up with horses. "Boring", not at all Taylor, what you've just done is to show us what a cool person you are and what an interesting life you live. However, this is a board to talk about escorts and experiences. There's a lot of good advice to be gained from those with that experience and your take/input is just as important as the next writer. This is where your age can play an important part. What is it that you are looking for by writing here? Is it to gain insight into the world of escorts, or is it just curiosity? Whatever it is, I hope this page can help you.

 

By the way, I'm attending the South Hampton Classic Horse Show this week. Do you ever show? My two nephews (mid 20's) are in the Jumping classes. Sniper...Won't it be nice if there was a place, other than a bar or strip club, where you could actually go to meet and talk with escorts. The "lounge" at the Gaiety provides you with that opportunity, but understandably, not every escort wants that kind of exposure... I for one have had enough "misses" on my selections of first time escorts. That's why I find it more comfortable to make my choice at the Gaiety. I can see and talk to the person before making my decision. How often do we read in reviews that the client was disappointed by the appearances of an escort, or says they look nothing like their picture...On the NY page of "Rentboy.com" there about 300 available escorts, some show their face and a few have reviews on this board. But when it comes to paying $200+ for about 1 hour of pleasure, I would like to be able to see the person face to face before making my decision. I don't know of any escorts who would say "sure, I'll meet your for a drink" and not expect any compensation for their time.... I also would think that an escort would welcome this approach. Checking out a client is just as important as checking out an escort...So where does that leave us? Would escorts be willing to go to a "lounge" type environment and mingle with clients, and would clients also be willing. If this "utopian" idea could ever work, it sure would put an end to a lot of bad reviews and bad vibes.
