Do Escorts keep records? Do clients?

Occasionaly an escort on the internet has said some thing that suggested that he keeps some record of the clients he has met--I assume so that the next time the client calls, the escort can decide whether he wants to repeat or not. This doesnt bother me because I dont give my real name etc. and I do keep a record of the clients I meet. So my question is how common is it for escorts to keep records? And, do most clients keep a record?

I (a client) most certainly do! I write a small record of each and every one of my encounters, with information about what we did in and out of bed, other data like the boy's looks, his birthday, his public contact info, his sexual talents (or lack thereof), etc. I also rate my boys with my very own special system. Oh, and in case you are wondering, everything is encrypted in a particular shorthand of mine and buried with double passwords in the bottom of my hard drive. }> }>

 

I started doing that back in 1995, in the pre-Internet-boom days, when one had to rely on written ads to find boys. The bad apples often changed names, but most of the time kept the same phone number (duh!): my records helped me spot them and avoid a repeat bad experience....I continued doing it out of habit. Now, believe me, I score plenty of brownie points when I wish them a happy birthday, or take them again to places they found particularly nice... :9 :9 :9

I'm an escort and I go out of my way NOT to keep any records. I delete all email addresses, phone numbers, addresses, pictures (if sent) or any other record. It's not that I want to forget about the encounter and I can generally remember clients names, emails and what we did. But I get rid of any potentially discriminating records in the event someone comes across the information. It's more to ensure the highest level of discretion.

I keep a journal, all pics received and copies of the AOL IM logs. They are in my computer, unencripted and with just one password.

In a lot of ways, clients *do* keep records even if it's unintentional. That's what this site is all about, isn't it?

 

Any escort I've seen who knocks my socks off gets reviewed here, and that's as permanent a record as I can imagine. It's a PUBLIC record.

As for the topic... the only record I have is in my handheld. Every week, I go through and clear the previous week, so there is no evidence left.

Other than that, I do keep email addresses of contacts in my online email account, which I'm assuming is secure....big brother is watching.

But as for keeping a record of specific details pertaining to individuals. IE likes/dislikes, quirks, pets names: ) Social security #'s.... I leave that to the grey matter harddrive.

As a client I don't keep any record once I've met with the escort. I simply tend to remember the details that I need to know.

 

Before, I meet an escort I will keep copies of emails so I can refer back to them in case I need to. Though as noted above once I meet with the escort I do delete these emails.

 

The only real "records" I intentionally keep are on what I call potentials. These are the escorts who I would like to meet yet haven't the time for or might not be in the proper location to do so. Therefore, I follow up on their travel plans and keep also my own travel plans, in case I end up near there town

As the the subject at hand, I keep a very casual journal on a simple spiral type note book (think stenographer) It has entries for the last 7 years when I started; the journal that is. Very simple enties: name and or screen name, stats, age, maybe some activity, some have a star to the left of their name, the date, a number if I've seen them on more than one occasion, and the $. Sometimes I would jot down the last 4 digits of the phone number, especially during the print days. I start a fresh new page for each year. This is handy for my year to date totals. Sometimes it's the only way I can exercise any kind of control. Since I joined AOL, I have also started to enter my hook-ups in a similar fashion. Only difference is a 00 at the end of the line. This I too has (happily) had an effect on my annual expenditure <G> I do keep e-mails and copies of IM's until after we meet. It's a good back-up of who said what, even if I have never had to use it. I will also keep the pics of my favs in my offline file.

 

I too have thought off transfering this info to my laptop. But with my limited skills and any 'puter's propensilty to crash at some point, I find my carefully placed journal more reliable. The worse that can happen is a broken pencil point or a fire. LOL

I keep pictures of guys I hire -- and some I contacted or looked at and didn't hire -- on my computer. The folder of those not hired is particularly helpful in reminding me those whom I have already ruled out for one reason or another.

 

I have a couple of guys' phone numbers programmed in my cell phone, for easy access. ;-)

 

Nowhere do I have written down anyone's name with information that indicates I paid him for sex or he gets paid for sex. Unless Ashcroft and Bush manage to restrict US citizens' rights even further, I think it's still okay to communicate with someone and collect partially nude and nude pictures (at least in my state).

 

Since I almost always have guys come to my place, I realize that I am running a risk. The escort not only can see my last name on my mail box, but he can keep any information about me that he wants without my knowledge. For all I know I'm listed in someone's "john" book with my full name, phone number, address, rate I paid, and that I love to get fucked. I can only hope that if such entries exist, they do not fall into the wrong hands. I only deal with individual escorts, however, and not escort services. I really would not want an escort service to have all of my information on file.

I have a complete narrative description of every experience I've ever had with an escort, including where I found him, where we did it, at what time, for how much money, which acts we engaged in in, what we talked about afterwards, etc. Since I started keeping this record before the computer was invented, it is all in hard copy (I'm too old-fashioned to transfer it to cyberspace), which I intend to will to a national archive for the benefit of future historians of twentieth century sexual practices--with the stipulation that it can't be published until all the principals are deceased.

Kool topic. I am a client and don't keep any planned records on the escorts I have met. Maybe a phone number and a name, I never use area codes on anything written as I seem to remember them well no matter where they live.

 

I will keep all emails. Though once the meeting is finished I erase them.

 

I use AIM and escorts who I like I will keep them on my buddy list, with their permission, as I tend to repeat with many and it is a nice way to stay in touch from time to time. I also bookmark escort sites of the guys I'm attracted to, though is that really considered keeping records? A bookmark to me is more generic in nature.
