They're not.  You're being entitled. You're PAYING, and also you're being entitled.

Look I'm not being an asshole because I shave, or did shave, I don't and I didn't.  But fucking hell, there's a large gap between having preferences, which everyone but me has, and hunting for an escort's pictures on social media and then zooming, zooming, in to see what is an almost imperceptible "flaw" and then saying, publicly, "well he's a no-go." (I realize this wasn't you Kensington).  Yes you're paying.  AND you're being fussy.

I don't want to get into a fight. But i have very pale, sensitive skin. I have slept with men who have shaved chests or arms. Not only is it uncomfortable to me (and sex is supposed to be pleasurable), but it will leave me with red "beard burn" all over my body.

I agree that zooming in on a picture and making a big deal about it is unnecessary. BUT if I were to hire an escort based on their being "naturally smooth" and they show up with a five o'clock shadow all over their body, I don't think it's being fussy or entitled to say they misrepresented themselves. I would say the same of someone who have pubic hair in all the pictures and shows up with a completely bare crotch.

It's funny to be even commenting on this because my husband is naturally smooth and besides him, I generally gravitate toward hairy guys.

I wouldn’t pay it in a million years for any guy. Definitely not him. But if someone wants to do it, why would I care? Only downside is it makes other escorts think they can get it too. And drives the price up. But then again, if few guys bite, such big fish won’t get caught often anyhow.

Doesn’t it just seem like if he advertises something, you as the client can reasonably expect that? And if he’s smooth in the pictures but is hairy in the meetup, and that’s an issue for you, you can either decline at that point or indicate on the review the pictures don’t match who showed up. It seems to me it would behoove a provider to have up-to-date pictures and/or say if they’ve dyed their hair blonde, say, if all their pictures are them with dark hair. Just my two cents…

I agree, a provider should have up-to-date photos.

However, it is not only out of date photos that are an issue in some cases.  Lots of providers use photos of a different person then have the nerve to expect a client to "take the bait" and continue with the encounter.

If the provider is aggressive, how does the client "decline at that point" with a possibility of danger if declining?

It is not always easy to meet new providers.

I get it.  I just get bitchy rather than supportive when I fear guys are limiting their options too much :-)

For the amount of money we spend on hiring, we have every right to see if that person is the right one that shows up at the door.  I’ve had my fair share of escorts that are not the ones who show up, so you better believe if there are more clues (ie: social media) out there to find out more about the person, I’ll use them to my advantage.

I still think a small patch of hair that you have to zoom in to find is picky and limiting, but obviously I'm not going to convince you, nor you me, so we will leave it at that.

Years ago, one escort I knew moved and retired.  Another guy, new to escorting and with a similar look and build and dick, got permission to use his website and phone number and just become him.  And, so, when people ordered Escort 1, they got Escort 2, which of course was especially jarring if they'd met previously with Escort 1!.  Now THAT is really and truly not being the one who shows up :-)

Interesting wonder if he exchanged any $ to takeover that "book of business".

Is there a way to block a thread so you never see it again?

I guess I just do my due diligence not to end up in a volatile situation where that would happen.

The escort has an obligation to present himself accurately when advertising.

And would you be so kind as to tell us how it is enforced for the provider to "present himself accurately"?

There are so many fake ads on rentmen that it would be impossible to make an accurate estimate.

If rentmen is furnished with proof of a fake ad, often the ad will be removed.  However, I personally know of several fake ads that are still running despite rentmen's knowledge the ad is fake.

Rentmen makes money from advertising.  It is not in the financial best interest of rentmen to remove an ad.

Despite the above harsh comments, there are many honest ads on rentmen.

The problem is knowing in advance which ads are bogus and which ads are not.

So are you saying that Rentmen’s best interest should be to make money by posting fake ads rather than being a reputable provider of legitimate ads?

I did not say or imply that

Please read my post again (portion copied below).

"If rentmen is furnished with proof of a fake ad, often the ad will be removed.  However, I personally know of several fake ads that are still running despite rentmen's knowledge the ad is fake.

Rentmen does not knowingly accept and post fake ads.  It is some providers that furnish fake ads to rentmen.

It is rentmen's inconsistency of removing or not removing ads that is baffling.  It could be an oversight by rentmen for not removing the ad.   The provider could furnish "proof" (bogus) for rentmen in order to keep the ad displayed.  I do not know the criteria rentmen uses to retain or remove an ad.

It appears that reports to rentmen of fake or stolen photos in an ad usually result in a fake ad being removed, but not always.

I do know that the ad removal criteria is inconsistent.

Experiment revisited:

I was curious to see how young Andrew Cunanan is doing with her high rates and book of platinum clientele.

Fast forward three months later and we now have an expired ad with zero reviews.  Appears that this formula for marketing doesn’t work well.  Especially in this economy.

Why are you using a female pronoun for Andrew?

To be fair, this isn't the only possible explanation for his ad being down.
