Wow. Goes back to 2001. I have a special affinity for that era. It was so different and it was right at the edge before technology changed everything. I'm really glad he was able to make $300/hour work for him.  Back then there were very few escorts confident enough to charge that.  From what I hear now it's much more common (I'm a bargain!)

Generally, for an escort, Retiring well-off is only possible if they find someone wealthy to bed down with or marry, or if they inherit money (There are always exceptions, Kevin Slater I'm sure is saving wisely).  For 5 years of escorting, Imagine Brogan made say $10k/month , which is a stretch.  If he spent nothing, he'd have $600k to retire on.  Not enough  given how young he was :-)
